I commissioned @pilitella​ way back in October for this piece of Liam and Croía from chapter 16 of Vancross. At the time, I hadn’t written the scene, and only bits and pieces were in my head. I had no idea what exactly it was that I wanted as far as the commission, only that I wanted the beginning of this pivotal moment for these two to shine through. So, I explained where they would be, what would be happening leading up to this moment, and what would be happening afterward. I then gave her free rein to come up with what she could to show what I was unable to really express or convey at the time.

And in true @pilitella​ fashion, she absolutely nailed it and blew me away 🥲

Tomorrow will be officially June, which means two things: My upcoming birthday. And because I enjoyed doing the giveaway last year, I will be doing another one this year. Again, the amazing @pilitella has agreed to do the winners piece.

I had to draw Damien Nazario for my master and mentor @pilitella as a welcome back gift for her. i know it's not as good as her works, but i had to try after i haven't drawn for such a long time. I haven't been motivated to draw lately, but i hope to get inspired soon.
