Petition to help indigenous girl reconnect with bio family

A racist white couple has taken custody of a young indigenous girl after the murder of her mother. Why was she not given to her ready and willing maternal family members. Because the white couple had power of attorney from the father. The Father who KILLED THE MOTHER. Please guys, there aren't nearly enough votes.

Hi guys, it’s been a while

Most of you don’t know this but I make ball jointed fabric dolls. Bellow is an crocodilian doll.

Currently I’m working on two new dolls

A peacock mantis shrimp

And a mallard duck 🦆

I need help in deciding what wing style I should use for the duck

Refer to image above, each wing style is in order of poll

Dc X DP prompt/story idea

So Danny has teamed up with different Captain Marvels over the years (either via clockwork shenanigans, or the Dp universe is simply older then DC) and Billy has memorys of this badass Ghost coming to help his predecessors out of tight spots.

Billy brings him up offhandedly in a JL meeting and jokingly calls Danny his dad. (Oh that reminds me of when Phantom went all dad mode and stopped this powerful mage from killing me a few hundred years ago)

The JL finds some ancient pots or writings describing Phantom as a benevolent god. They connect the dots.

A demigod calling a being described as a god their father? Checks out.

The league really needs help with something or someone world ending (probably darkseid) and they are out of all options so they tell Marvel to call his dad. Even Bruce and Constantine are onboard because a being described as benevolent that is apparently one of the most powerful leaders dad is certainly the safest option then whatever else they have at the moment.

Billy internally freaks out and tells them he needs to go to the Rock of Eternity to call him because he lives in a another dimension/universe and it’s just safer contact him there. Billy books it to the rock sifting through memorys, spell books, and desperately asking Shazam for help because none of his predecessors ever contacted Danny he just showed up.

Billy eventually finds something to summon Danny and does so, not before getting some food as offering of course. Danny shows up either and a adult or a Elterich being because it’s just easier to have adults respect you when you look like that rather then a 14 year old.

When Danny sees Billy he’s instantly like ‘is that a 12 year old!?’ Because his powers as the ghost king and or being considered an ancient let’s him see through the magic that is Caption Marvels form. Billy tells Danny about the situation and Danny is concerned.

Depending on how the writer wants the fic to go Danny’s reaction would probably be either ‘I must help him at all costs because he’s like I was after the accident’ or ‘he’s way to young to be fighting such powerful beings, who do I give a piece of my mind to!’

It could easily be either Danny adopting Billy, or Danny and Billy becoming close friends that pretend to be father and son to mess with the JL and JLD

The Justice League would be so baffled.

This eldritch horror that looks Nothing like the depictions of him in history shows up behind Cap. And consistently shoves the hero who they’ve seen take down gods and win behind him telling Captain Marvel “no, you’re too young for this.” Then, seemingly without any effort at all, takes down the threat in a single blow.

If Cap is recorded to be thousands of years old and his father considers him “young” then how old is Cap’s dad?!

Thankfully for Billy, he got his story with Danny settled and Danny personally thinks this is hilarious. So he’ll go along with pretending to be this kids dad. On one condition, that he gets to treat Billy like the kid he was, (Danny figures it would technically fit. He’s been around long enough that a couple thousand years is nothing.) and that he gets to train Billy.

Back to the Justice League, who watches Cap’s father gently push the full grown man aside, calling him “young” then proceeds to, without seemingly any effort at all, down the villain in a single blow.

Honestly, Danny has been helping Billy’s cover through referencing things that haven’t been marked in history books and talking about past iterations of Captain Marvel he has met as though they were Billy, “I remember when you were only 500 years old and helped you defeat your first dragon, I was so proud of you that day.” At one point when asked how old he was, he replied that he was a witness to “the creation of The Source.” For whatever reason, Hal Jordan and John Stewart look particularly shocked at this statement.

I love this! This actually inspired me to write it! (If I finish it is another story)

I imagine that Danny just starts hanging out in the Watchtower every once in a while, probably no less then once a month. The JL don’t know what to do because they don’t want to offend the most powerful being they have ever encountered. John tells them to make a offering table with different food and drink, and promptly refuses to go on the Watchtower whenever Phantom is there.

Diana tells the JL that even Zeus feels weak when compared to Phantom. This of course sends Bruce into contingency plan mode, except he can’t think of anything. So, whenever he can, Bruce asks Danny questions to try and figure out a weakness. He either gets stories of Danny fighting gods told in such a way it makes him sound absolutely terrifying, or the most cryptic and vaguely threatening answers he has ever heard.

One day Barry asks Cap why he never called his dad sooner, and Billy tells him it’s because his dad was asleep and he didn’t want to wake him up unless he absolutely had too. Funny enough, Danny has gotten into the habit of not sleeping for around 1000 years and then sleeping for 100; consequently, he was actually woken up a few years early by the summoning.

This fact combined with some of Danny’s answers (like the fact he was around for the creation of the source) leads the League to conclude that Phantom is actually Chaos. (For anyone that doesn’t know Chaos is the Greek creator) The theory is stronger when you account for the Eldridge form Danny can take.

Meanwhile Billy is being combat trained by Fright Knight, because Danny is scared he’ll accidentally hurt him. Danny mostly teaches him magic, and does target practice.

Cap gets called to the Watchtower as soon as he gets back from one of these sessions, and the Justice League is terrified when they see him all scuffed up. They ask him what happened and he just replies:

“Don’t worry, I was training with my dad’s royal guard captain, dad still doesn’t want to spar with me because I’m so young. But he said as soon as I can defeat the captain in one on one combat I can finally practice with him! But that probably won’t happen until I’m a few million years old… Fright still hasn’t stopped babying me…”

This thoroughly freaks everyone out because they have seen this man fight Gods, and come back with not even a scratch. And if this was whoever this ‘Fright’ is babying the Captain, how powerful are they? More importantly, Phantom won’t spar with his son because he is so much more powerful than who is currently the most powerful member of the Justice League.

Needless to say, Bruce is very quickly turning gray from this ordeal.

Someone I beg of you guys !! Tag me if you write more 😭😭 I am in love with this concept

I definitely think this can be pushed even further. With Fright knight in on the story he can use his experience of dealing with an overpowered Danny to drop cryptic anecdotes about Cap.

Fright knight is summoned by Danny and he says something like “oh has the young princes Eldritch powers finally awakened” in reference to Cap. The entire JLC hears and now Bats thinks Cap is a ticking time bomb of untapped power.

Cap reassures them that his powers won’t mature for millions of years.

Or Dani being a Manice cause she refuses to remain consistently older or younger than Cap so no one knows if she’s stronger than him.

I think Danny would get a kick out of messing with Superman and WW, he’d call them youngsters with great potential. And then casually bemoan their eventual demise lol

I love The Golden Girls.

Ya’ll don’t have any idea how fucking brave and needed these plot lines were.

This was before Ellen came out.

This was before civil unions.

This was before Don’t Ask Don’t Tell.

This was when your ass could be fired, blacklisted, and shunned with no legal protections for even being hinted at being gay.

And the Golden Girls said “Fuck you, Fuck this, we’re doing it anyway.”

I think it should be noted that Blanche’s quote about AIDS is also “It is not god punishing people for their sins” and that the episode also deals with slutshaming.

I don’t know if people realize how much activism these women did for gay right and during the aids crisis. If you think about it they were all long established in Hollywood and Broadway. They had tons of friends personally affected and dealing with the aids crisis. Estelle Getty lost a nephew. I think they helped plant seeds in people who watched Golden Girls that helped make things a little more normalized and mainstream.

Weird question anyone remember a hetalia panel where it was the chibis and their dads?? I know the original poster and YouTube took down the full version of the panel, does anyone else have it ?

Eye see.

Holy fuckin shit this hits my soul in a deeply scratchy way, mmmmmm like I want more but I also want it to stand as a singular entity

"It's not c!Techno's fault that Tubbo was killed..."

mhm, you are totally right, infact-

"The blame should be placed on Schlatt..."

Yeah-

"And Wilbur."

Wait.

"Wilbur could've done something."

wait no hold up.

"he should have jumped in or at least not stopped Tommy from helping-"

But-

"It's Schlatt's fault, yes, but it's Wilbur's just as much."

...

no it's not.

id techno in full armour couldnt have defended himself against everyone at the festival, how the hell could wilbur in NO armour have done it?

Avatar

its interesting how people will be like “dont blame techno he was in a high pressure situation and he didnt know what the enemy had!!!” and then will be like “but wilbur couldve stepped in!!! and he didnt do anything!!”

you cant say one is innocent and the other is guilty. either they both played a hand in tubbos execution or neither are to blame. make up your mind.

Avatar

things that are Very interesting:

- techno had no choice but to kill tubbo because he was in a high stress situation, it was schlatt's fault and Only schlatt's fault and we can't hold it against techno when he doesn't feel bad for doing it.

- it's Apparently 100% tommy's fault when he switched sides at the green festival. was he being framed by his abuser in front of nearly the entire server? was he in a fight with the closest friend he's ever had? was he face to face with a place that he considered home being destroyed? Maybe, but none of that matters because he hurt technoblade's feelings. we need to hold it against him even though he apologized for it at the time, again before the disc war finale, and still actively feels bad for it now.

and

- ghostbur's death being directly compared to tubbo's execution in terms of "why are we arguing about these two characters being at fault when it was really this person who directly caused it" when ghostbur was killed By Dream while tubbo was killed By Techno. ghostbur's death was enabled by tommy's choices, sam's choices, and even his own choices, but he was killed by dream because dream wanted him dead. tubbo's death was enabled by other people's inaction, but wilbur and tommy didn't act because they didn't think that techno was going to follow through.

it was tommy and sam's inaction, it was tommy and wilbur and quackity and fundy's inaction, but it was Both schlatt and techno's Actions. the situations are not the same

Yeah, it's always impressive how the "high stress situation" thing is a justification for everyone but Tommy...
