We are still living in the heart of catastrophe. Ongoing starvation, fear, and the lack of safety have destroyed what remains of our humanity. We lost our home, our jobs, our dreams… we lost the life we once knew!

I lost my baby after six months of pregnancy. Six months during which I awaited his birth as a sole beacon of hope amid death and destruction. I held onto him as a symbol of a new beginning… but he left before seeing the light of day. 💔😭

The miscarriage was difficult and painful. My body could no longer endure. I became unable to move, and my health has sharply deteriorated. My heart tears apart every moment I remember that I lost my baby…🥹

My family and I are now suffering from severe malnutrition. We’ve lost a great deal of weight and can no longer find anything to satisfy our hunger. We need flour, basic foods, nutritional supplements, and urgent medicines so I can regain my strength and care for my child and family who are still alive and struggling every day to survive.

I know you have never hesitated to help, and you have always been a symbol of humanity. But today I write to you with the last strength I have left… because my life and the lives of my family are in your hands.

Your support now means life for us… it means we have not been forgotten in this hell.

It’s about white people, even well-intentioned white allies, being too comfortable in their privilege and not learn more about the complex beliefs of civil right leader MLK Jr other than his “I have a dream” speech. MLK Jr. talked extensively about American Imperialism, Capitalism, and White Fragility/Complicity throughout his career and activism, which most Liberal white allies won’t share because they’re too comfortable with the white lies they were taught in schools.

if it were not explicitly illegal to make kids work long hours, companies in this country would be scheduling 14 year olds with 8 to 12 hour shifts just like they exploit the adults they employ. the foster care system in this country is a nightmare. the corporal punishment debate feels like it’s never going to end; there are still parents who feel that they are ‘within their right’ to hit and spank their kids and there was a bill introduced to the house of representatives as recently as february of 2021 that has once again proposed ending corporal punishment in schools. nearly every private school in this country, except for those in new jersey and iowa, is still legally allowed to punish children physically. the public school system is a traumatizing mess with intense grading scales and attendance policies that aggressively punish kids of color, poor kids, disabled kids, and neurodivergent kids. the way federal funding for schools is determined in part by adequacy and ‘basic skills’ test scores makes me want to scream. every environmental health crisis has directly impacted developing children severely and the government doesn’t care enough to do anything about it. occurrences of gun violence in schools are so frequent that we have drills in every one of this country’s public schools, treating school shootings as though they’re as inevitable as severe weather or accidental fires.

this country seriously just fucking hates kids.

I’m sorry you think she’s that powerful, what did you think Britain was like before?

She’s one of the richest people in Britain and puts that money towards groups and policies that make life and transitioning harder for trans people, such as going against the equality act which aims to protect LGBT people from discrimination. Sorry you’re ignorant to how the world around you works but this is something that’s actually happening.

They have already minted one of these as an NFT, and seem to be looking to make it more accessible for NFT minting. Not every image you make is an NFT, so simply using it does not contribute to NFT generation according to them, but you have the option to make it an NFT with support from the company (or will have an option in the app to mint in the future, if I’m reading right).

There’s things I’m bitter about art wise, but this is important to bring to people’s attention without my petty artist stance. I just figured people would want to be aware of this.
