I’m back from the PokeSpe meeting with some interesting information (I know I’m supposed to post it to my non-art blog but whatever)

- Kusaka’s favorite “character” is currently Necrozma. I guess it will have a big role in SM arc. - Two authors do have conflict sometimes. Yamamoto recalled that one time when Diamond and Pearl argued in-manga, he did argue with Kusaka too. When the two boys reconciled, two authors also reconciled - Kusaka said even though there are argument, he still adores/likes Yamamoto a lot. The artist was shy and hid his face when hearing that, it was really cute… ;;w;; - When they were asked to choose a pokemon to be their partners, Yamamoto said prior to SM, he liked Gothorita but now his favorite is Tsareena. He always uses it when playing the game. - Kusaka: “Partner? Then there must be lots of travelling and battles, right? I want a strong and dazzling one like Arceus! Otherwise, cute ones like Pikachu is OK.” - The artist said most of the time he was rushed for the deadline and had to stay overnight to draw. Though, during 17 years, there were only two times Pokespe was delayed. His secret potion is condensed milk - While, the author said he had never had a writer’s block/lack of ideas. He was always full of ideas and sometimes couldn’t even choose, as each idea will lead to a different path in the plot (uhm then why most of the times the characters ended up being trapped in somethings..) - Yamamoto said every pokemon was hard to draw to him, except Ditto (the room burst into laugh then) - When will Black be out of stone? The two authors laughed a lot. Kusaka said “Hey, you all must have just waited for some months right? Japanese readers have been waiting way longer than you. Let’s wait till vol54 and see”. NO Kusaka, it’s true that vol51 was published some months ago in Vietnam but we’ve been fucking waiting for over 1000 days and we even made memes out of it. - When will Pokespe have anime adaption? The authors want to know too. It’s not somethings they can decide.. Last but not least, THEY RECEIVED MY DRAWINGS. I was too shy to get there to hand over the pieces myself so a friend did it for me. Consider their reaction, I hope they will keep them ;;w;;
