SW Visions S2E7-9
On the whole I liked these too. They really varied from ep to ep IMO.
Ep 7 felt very similar to an earlier one (nr3?) and I think I preferred that one. Enough was different that maybe I shouldn't feel that way, but like the earlier ep, it also felt pretty slow until a final (slow-mo) action scene kicked things into gear. It did feel very SW and stayed true to the 'teachings' I guess.
Ep 8 started off really well. It was pretty dark, but definitely something the Empire would do. The ending felt a bit... too sweet and happy, in contrast.
Ep 9 (Aau's Song) was amazing. Absolutely my favorite. Visually it managed to be adorable and beautiful at once, the actual songs (including the song over the credits) were suitably ethereal, and it had some interesting Force abilities. This felt very SW, like it could be canon but doesn't have to be. Definitely the best one all-round IMO
I think I liked S2 as a whole a lot more than S1? Possibly because I spread them out more, possibly because I knew beter what to expect this time.
I have to ask though: why does every other lightsaber-wielding character have a fancy lightsaber? Light staff, or 2 sabers, or a fancy color, or even a combo?! When did a single lightsaber stop being cool?

& not even purely in a "I'm sex repulsed &/or ace &/or not into the idea of so I willingly didn't have it" but also in a "I'm 80, I would've loved to have sex, but it takes two to tango & no one wanted to have sex w/ me-" and in a "I'm 60 & I wanted to, but I had anxiety so bad I just didn't put myself in a situation where I could've" way, etc. [But yes also the people who are like "I'm a virgin because I never wanted to have sex"]
Someone made a post about having their 40th birthday & still being a virgin & someone commented about how it was heartbreaking... [The OP talked about all their other achievements they reached & how they were happy - just never had sex btw. They weren't lamenting about how they never had sex]
You don't need sex/sexual intimacy to be happy. You don't need romantic intimacy to be happy. [Obviously having those may add happiness, but like you won't live a sad depressing empty life if you're single forever &/or never have sex]

These were even better! Maybe not as visually striking, but still pretty and the stories were more fun. They all could have totally fit in canon as well? With maybe a few changes, of course.
I really enjoyed that the ones by the British and French studios (4 & 6) were *so* British and French in theme and look and feel. I hope that's true for all the other shorts as well.
Ep 5 really felt very SW, when they went to the Council I half expected to see familiar characters. Glad the whole thing about Light and Dark didn't turn into a Grey/balance/everyone's both thing, but an ebb and flow, a cycle. That's what we've seen in the saga, so that was cool.
