I am very much into vampires these days (and always into Splatoon) so one can imagine how exited I got when I found out about vampire squids Sooo I tried my own take on vamplings/vampirelings/??? (I don’t know what to call them yet). Despite their name they aren’t actually squids, nor are they octorian, but their own species. Unlike the other cephalopods, vampire squids lack ink sacs, so they can not produce ink. But what they have are photophores, which lets them produce and shoot a bioluminescent liquid instead! I know this is dump nerd stuff, but making them up made me really happy and it was a nice character design challenge. %D
