When your body pretends to be hungry the morning after a binge
Affirmations for Weight Loss
Half the battle is in the mind, so repeat after me until these phrases sink into your psyche…
“I have learned how to keep myself from overeating”
“I don’t binge anymore”
“I am reaching my ideal weight”
“I lose weight more quickly because I eat slower”
“I do not eat out of anxiety or depression”
“Food provides me energy, nothing more”
“My body is becoming more efficient”
“I choose to eat nutritious food and avoid unhealthy foods”
“Weight loss has become effortless for me” (FAVE)
I like to say these before bed, or during yoga/meditation. Try it. I lost 9lb this week.
Me gustaria que dejes de recordarme que estoy gorda y mucho mas me gustaria que si me decis gorda no lo hagas de esa manera despectiva sabes que duele muchisimo ¿porque ?
10 ways i got to 99 lbs ⭐️
1. download dieting apps/apps to keep track of your calorie intake.
mynetdiary literally changed my life. it’s so handy and easy to use, i’m so glad i downloaded it. would definitely recommend mynetdiary!
2. eat a breakfast high in fiber (& never skip breakfast!)
this can suppress your appetite and make it easier to restrict throughout the day. it also helps to lower your cholesterol and stabilize your blood sugar.
3. allow yourself one “cheat day” a week.
basically this just means eating a normal amount of calories—this does NOT mean you get to binge. usually on saturdays i’ll let myself have a cookie or something like that.
4. never reward yourself with food.
i used to get into the mindset of “i did this good thing, i deserve some chocolate!” that will teach your brain to want food every time you do something good. instead, buy yourself something nice, or take a long bath, or paint your nails! reward yourself with other things.
5. try not to go out with friends and do things that involve food.
for example, going to get ice cream. see if you can hang out at the mall or an arcade instead! you’ll be burning calories walking around instead of gaining them by eating ice cream.
6. take every opportunity to restrict.
i usually have to eat with my parents, but while i’m at school i don’t have to! so i never eat anything at lunch time. if you are presented with food you can deny, always deny it.
7. exercise for at least 30 minutes a day.
at LEAST. walk everywhere you can instead of biking or driving. get up and take your dog on a walk, or do the dishes!
8. focus on school, extracurricular activities, or hobbies.
use the time you would be eating by distracting yourself! study a little harder for that test, take up drawing. distract yourself from food, and soon enough you’ll even forget to eat.
9. drink a lot of water!
this will help to speed up your metabolism. being dehydrated can slow your metabolism down by as much as 3%, and drinking increases it by about 30%
10. don’t fast for more than 72 hours.
not only is it extremely dangerous, but it will also make you more likely to binge. you don’t need to fast for that long, be safe!!

You ever starve yourself for a couple days and then when you finally eat again you can’t control yourself and you can’t stop eating and then your stomach gets all bloated so you purge and then you sit there wondering when this awful cycle will end and when you will recover from your eating disorder but you come to the reality that it’s possible you never will recover? Like damn I really hate it.

Decido seguir el consejo de mi amiga , le intento contar a mi padre mi problema ."Creó que tengo un desorden alimenticio" . Su maravillosa respuesta fue la misma de siempre NADA ! .
Something I've realised about eating disorders
No one gives a fuck about you or your eating disorder unless you’re frail and look like you’re dying. Millions of men and women sufferi from ednos, bulimia, binge eating and even anorexia go unnoticed because they don’t “look sick” This is why none of us get help. Because we all feel like we’ll get looked down upon for saying “hey I have an eating disorder” if we don’t look the part. We feel embarrassed to be getting help because we feel like if we aren’t on the edge of death then we’re healthy. Even though we know in our hearts that we aren’t healthy and that we are struggling, our minds, because of society, force us to believe that we shouldn’t recover because we don’t have it as bad as someone else.
IT HAD TO BE SAID.
