I would've given anything for our love to last How did plans for our future become the past I guessed I should've known A wavering intensity between hot and cold My family loved you Yours loved me I haven't said a word since we went our separate ways until dad asked me about you that day An open wound he didn't notice How do I cope with losing this relationship Or I suppose growing out of it I keep myself so busy I haven't really made time to cry about it A few tears here and there, but it doesn't suffice All the plans we had for you to be in my life We were so deeply connected You were my soulmate wife
