Watching a Christmas movie from this past season that has some HUGE "filmed during the pandemic" vibes.
Story revolves around a woman dating a guy who works with the forestry service, and while doing a thing, his plane needs repairs, and can't get out before a storm, and won't be home for Christmas.
So she jumps in her car and drives to meet him, and he grabs a snowmobile to meet her halfway.
Which leads to these two characters traveling very much alone, and hitting roadblocks and one or two characters at a time along the way, with other members of his family being largely alone doing their own thing while the two lovers try to connect.
Everyone feels VERY isolated.
Just a rambly observation from yours truly.
