I think one of my favorite aspects of Phineas and Ferb is that the entire cast is a perfect example of the One Degree of Separation trope.

By it's very nature, I literally can't state how many connections each character has to each other or I'd be here all day, but it's wild.

I will talk about my favorite little example of it, though. So, Stacy knows Perry's secret identity thanks to a technicality stopping her from getting mind wiped after seeing him in action. That on it's own is funny, but she's also friends with Candace (Perry's owner who he needs to hide his identity from) and Vanessa (who also knows his identity as he fights her dad), which is hilarious. In this trio of teen girls only Candace doesn't know that her pet is a secret agent.

Here's a list of "one-degree" character relationships (mostly Perry specific ones) that I personally find hysterical:

1. Jeremy and Perry - Jeremy has given to guitar lessons to both his BOSS and also his NEMESIS.

2. Buford and Perry - Buford worked for his nemesis why is his life like this

3. Candace and Perry - see above (it's so stupid it's so fucking FUNNY poor Perry) (also Candace specifically has interacted with Doof multiple times like. Directly)

4. Linda and Doof - Linda and Charlene are literally friends. Like they go out and do stuff as friends. Take classes together. Not only is Linda one person away from running into her ex, she's one person away from her pet platypus

In conclusion: Perry is CONSTANTLY at risk of being discovered because his family and their friends are just too fucking friendly with his nemesis' family

Mans was literally so respectful he never assumed every turquoise platypus he met wasn't automatically going to be the one and only turquoise platypus he's ever met 😂😂😂

I think it’s very sweet that Perry the Platypus recognized that the poor dude is effectively platypus-face-blind (and possibly colour-blind as well), cannot tell if a random platypus is or is not Perry, and is never going to assume in case it is a different platypus because that would be RUDE - and therefore carefully puts on his hat every time, so Doofenshmirtz knows who he’s talking to. 

That is some prime Politeness-Between-Nemeses right there. 

To be fair, the tri state area apparently has a LOT of platypuses.

human perry 낙서 

I have started watching the german dub of phineas and ferb for fun (or should I say phineas und ferb)

- the va for german candace is pretty good. however I’m fairly sure she is also the va for stacy so whenever they’re together it sounds like she’s talking to herself. she does a good job with the craziness though

- german phineas is kind of annoying I don’t much care for his voice

- german ferb sounds nothing like the og

- german doof is good. idk I don’t have anything to say about him. I prefer the english voice of course (probably cuz I’m just used to it) and I think the spanish dub does a better job at sounding like the og but it’s not bad

- german baljeet sounds exactly the same

- I like the dubs of the songs. they even dubbed the quirky worky song which like they didn’t have to do that but it’s cool

- “perry das schnabeltier” is very fun to say

- the episode titles are mostly way different from the english titles. like for example “don’t even blink” is “der unsichtbare beweis” which translated to english means “the invisible proof.” kind of interesting

- update apparently they changed the name of gimmelshtump to “dunkeldorf” that’s hilarious
