Lemuen!!!!!!!

I was nervous about this too but I found someone who summed it up for me - basically, her physical therapy progressed enough that she can stand for a very very short period of time. Her opponent is actually surprised at this and asks how she can stand and she says “I can’t, my physical therapist is going to yell at me and this is going to set my recovery back a lot.” But she deemed putting a bullet in whoever she’s fighting is important enough that she’d take that loss.

if i am not intrigued, impressed, inspired, and/or incapacitated by a song at all within 30 seconds of listening then she is skipped and rejected, abandoned and forgotten. there is no place for floppage and pedestrianism within this auditory cortex.

apparently europeans have the impression that US Americans never learn the metric system.

like our science curriculum from day one is entirely done in the metric system. we just don't use metric in our day to day lives.

yeah actually we kinda just do it for the bit :)

I have had people try to gently and kindly explain to me the workings of the metric system, as if Americans are having trouble with the concept of a base ten system. like no. we get it. we were taught this when we were like eight. it's just that like. we don't really wanna do it that way. for the bit.

no no it's for the bit it's for the bit !!! it's for the bit!!!!!

i am not immune to stories in which characters who have endured harsh, empty existences become absolutely transformed by someone’s sincere love for them and learn to live
