Shiro being there for Keith is wonderful. He got Keith from a bad place and brought him to a better one. He taught Keith to have faith in himself and to be strong. This is why Keith is the man he is today. You don't have to be true blood family/be legal family to have this kind of relationship. I wish people would see that.

So I drew some of my favourite platonic relationships from Voltron and okay guys I know that thing with shipping but come on is a romantic kind of love the only one? NO! Love comes in different forms and sizes and it’s a pity that sometimes we forget how powerful can be love of friends, love of brothers (even if they are not related).
