sorry but that confrontation scene surfaced who genuinely cared for sam and who didn't.
neung cared for sam enough to go back to that hell and fight for sam knowing well sam can't do it, the grandma does not have an inch of admittance that she was also to blame about things, kirk did not even care about sam's situation at all and was more focused on the grandma, and mon...
... i feel like that was the greatest display of love mon has shown and she did not even utter a single word. that whole ordeal she was focused on sam. she was willing to follow sam even after knowing what grandma can be like, she was trying to hold back neung after noticing sam was getting affected by neung's harsh words, her eyes were glued to sam and was trying to give her assurance and even from afar. she was willing to yield on site just to not give sam more to think about. at that moment, she did not care about anything - not even her and sam's relationship - she only cared about sam's well-being.
confrontation scene 10/10 for sure.
