Is this foreal?
Yes it’s a real service. I do volunteer work for a rape crisis support service in my city and texting is one of the features we provide as well. But just to boost its credibility, I tried it myself:
You can also text “Steve” to 741741 if you’re a young person of color. The website for more info is stevefund.org
My understanding is that it’s more multicultural and some folks feel more comfy with that in mind!

Hi people!
So here it is my first Riverdale imagine ever 💕
I promise I’m not ignoring your requests but I’m slowly going through all of them and will be posting them as soon as I can, so bear with me.
Anon request: can you please write a jughead imagine where the reader is new in riverdale and they meet and then they start dating but the reader gets insecure because he spends a lot of time with betty and betty acts all bitchy and jealous because her and jughead liked each other before she moved and they fight because of that????
Now, it was very hard for me to portray Betty as “bitchy” because she’s a precious cinnamon roll, but I tried my best. So I hope you like it. 💕
Warnings: jealous Betty (I apologize to all Bughead shippers), insecure reader.

“I think that’s the last box kiddo, thanks for helping out.” Y/N’s dad said taking the empty box to put it with the rest to dispose of them later. “Why don’t you go to explore for a bit while I finish arranging everything?”
“Is it okay if I go take a walk? I want to see what’s around here.”
“Sure, just be very careful and take your phone with you.” Y/N nodded and took her jacket before walking out the door.
Y/N had just moved with her dad to Riverdale after her parents disastrous divorce. It was an excruciating process full of never ending battles between them. Always fighting for the most stupid things just so they could bother the other and Y/N was tired of it.
So after being part of the collateral damage from the war between her parents, she decided she needed a change of air.
Once the divorce process was completed, months after their first fight with their lawyers, her dad told her he was moving away to his hometown to look for a bit of calm. She didn’t hesitate when she asked him to take her with him. She just wanted to get away from the house she was living in, to take a break of everything that happened.
Her mom put a bit of a fight in that, but she was old enough to decide with who she wanted to live with, so eventually she let her go.
She was aware that it may not be the most exciting thing to spend your high school years in a very small town. And school year had already started, so she would have a bit of trouble fitting in and catching up with every subject. But in all honesty, surviving high school would be more than enough at this point.
She continued to walk along the almost empty streets of Riverdale. The chilly air was doing wonders to calm her mind so she just trusted her feet to take her wherever they wanted.
After a few minutes walking, she noticed some cars parked from a distance. A big screen in front of them, projecting the iconic James Dean in “Rebel without a cause”.
Curiosity kicked in taking her steps towards that place, eventually noticing it was a drive-in. According to the sign in the entrance, it was the last night it would be open. It was a shame she just got there that day.
She now understood why the streets were almost devoid of people.
The place was packed with cars. People were gathering up in front of a small stand in order to buy some snacks and popcorn.
After some debating with herself, she decide to sit on the ground by the snacks stand. She had a decent view of the screen and she didn’t feel that lonely. She might be going against the rules of the drive-in, since she didn’t brought a car, but she wanted to stay and watch the movie to enjoy the last night of the drive-in like the rest of Riverdale.
-
30 good minutes passed before it started to get colder. She buried face in the front of her jacket rubbing her arms at the same time, trying to create some friction to keep her warm. As much as she tried though, after a bit, it became too cold to bear.
She looked around, seeking for a place to stay to watch the rest of the movie where she would be shielded from the cold. She actually thought of going to someone and ask them if she could stay in their car with them, but that would be way too weird and creepy.
All of sudden, her eyes caught a sight of the small booth where the movie was being projected, her feet already approaching it.
Without a second thought, she entered the booth before anyone caught her. The warmth immediately enveloped her, her lips breaking into a content smile. She closed the door behind her rubbing her hands together to get rid of the cold burning her skin.
“What are you doing here?” an accusing voice made her jump. She turned around placing her eyes on the raven haired boy sitting in front of her, scrutinizing her with his eyes.
“I-I’m really sorry.” she apologized with her cheeks burning in embarrassment. “I thought no one was here.” he raised his brows waiting for an explanation that she hadn’t given him yet. “I didn’t mean to intrude or anything, but I was freezing out there.” he frowned, increasing the embarrassment she was feeling.
“What about your car?” he asked still suspicious. “It’s a drive-in, you know?”
“I know but I came here by myself… walking, I mean.” his gaze was making her uncomfortable as he studied her face with curiousness, almost reading her like an open book. She fidgeted in her place awkwardly trying to hide herself from his prying stare.“I’m really sorry, I’ll just go.”
“No” he said stopping her as she was already turning around with her hand reaching for the door. “It’s fine.”
He sighed and pointed to the spot next to him with his head. She thought about it for a moment before she hesitantly took slow steps towards him. He sensed her doubt and offered her a half smile, patting the seat next to him inviting her to sit.
“So are you enjoying the movie?” he asked while adjusting the beanie covering his head.
“Well…I’m more of a Tarantino type of girl but I can appreciate a good 50’s James Dean movie.” she replied shrugging carelessly.
“So you’re into unconventional structure and racial epithets. All up for controversy, I see.” he commented wit a teasing smile earning an amused chuckle from her. “I’m Jughead.”
What a curious name she thought.
“Y/N”
“You’re new here.” he wasn’t asking, he was telling her he knew she was new in town. It wasn’t a surprise though. In such a small town, new people stood out like a sore thumb.
“I am, just got here today.” she confirmed hugging her knees.
“Why now? School year already started.” he said confused. It was weird for someone to move to Riverdale, let alone when everyone had already resumed their activities after the summer.
“Yeah, but my parents’ divorce trial just ended so…you know.” she trailed off not wanting to get into a deep conversation about her broken family.
“That sucks.” he simply replied focusing his eyes on the movie once again.
“I’d like it better this way, though.”she admitted. “They’re not at each other’s throat all the time anymore so it’s cool.”
She took the chance to look around the place, noticing that apart from the films that were piled in a corner, there were also clothes and bags next to what looked like an improvised bed. There were also a couple of pictures on the walls and some canned food resting on the ground. All in all, it looked way too personal for just a working place. It was more of a dorm where a college student spent their days when he wasn’t in class. “You work here?” she asked, curiosity taking the best of her.
“I won’t anymore after tonight.” he replied, his expression turning sour. “People don’t care about this place, even if it represents a historical and monumental part of this town, they don’t seem to mind its closing.”
“I’m sorry, it’s really a shame I got here the last day of its existence. It seems like this place means a lot to you.”
“Yeah, this place is almost like home.” he said with sarcasm dripping from every word.
It was then when she understood that he definitely lived in that little booth. She ignored the reasons why he had to do such thing, but she knew that they were going to take his home away from him.
She didn’t want to say anything further so she wouldn’t get to any touching subject.
They both kept quiet for the rest of the movie, sometimes interrupting to make a comment on a specific scene.
There was not an awkward tension between them and weird enough, Jughead didn’t feel the need to shut Y/N out as he would with any other stranger. Sure he was now friends with Kevin and Veronica, but that was mostly because of Betty, cause if it wasn’t for her, he would probably have never even spoken to them.
Soon enough, the credits were rolling on the screen. People put away their blankets and threw away their left over popcorn before starting their cars to leave.
Y/N stood up from her seat, once she saw the cars lining up in the exit, the place slowly emptying. She zipped up her jacket and placed her hands on her pockets before offering Jughead a smile.
“Thank you for letting me stay.” she said making him smirk.
“My pleasure.” he replied standing up too.
“I’ll see you around, yeah?” Y/N asked before stepping outside.
“I bet you will.” Jughead said with his smirk not wavering. She silently chuckled while closing the door behind her, walking home with a smile on her face.
~~~*~~~
Y/N exited her classroom once the bell rang indicating lunch time. She joined the group of students eager to reach the cafeteria so they wouldn’t have to wait in line to get their lunch. Most of them just anxious to gossip with their group of friends.
Y/N was distractedly looking at her feet, careful to not trip with someone else’s feet when a hand reached for hers, interlacing their fingers together. She raised her head, her gaze meeting a pair of green eyes paired up with a mischievous smile. She leaned into Jughead’s shoulder, as he placed a kiss on the back of her hand.
After that night in the drive-in, it didn’t take long for them to meet again. They shared one of their classes and as soon as she entered the classroom, Y/N recognized that grey beanie. She immediately made a beeline to the seat next to Jughead, him greeting her with a small smile.
She was more than grateful that she finally had someone to ease her embarrassment caused by the constant blatant stares of her classmates.
Throughout the days, they spent plenty of time together, becoming closer and closer. It wasn’t a surprise when they started dating, pretty much everyone saw that coming.
“So apparently the most talked about thing here, it’s still Cheryl Blossom’s continuous breakdowns.” he greeted her with a random comment, just like he did everyday.
“Well, she keeps publicly addressing her brother so it’s not much of a surprise.” she admitted. “I don’t blame her though.”
“I have no comments on the matter.” Jughead said, clearly saving some strong opinions about the situation. Y/N just shook her head while laughing.
“Hey, are you up for a movie tonight?” she asked changing to a lighter subject.
“Sorry, I can’t. I already have plans.” He lowered her head, almost shying away from her eyes. He looked almost ashamed as he tightened the grip on her hand.
“Oh, it’s okay. We can hang out other day.” she tried hard to keep the disappointment out of her voice, and as curious as she was, she decided not to ask him about his plans.
“Hey guys!” Archie greeted them once they met them at one of the tables. Y/N said hi to everyone and took her usual seat next to Veronica.
Veronica had moved to Riverdale a couple of weeks before Y/N, so she knew what it was like to be the new girl in town. Veronica took her under her wing right away, becoming great friends in no time.
“Hey, are you up for some pampering after school?” she questioned. “I’m in desperate need of a mani-pedi and a face mask.”
“Sure!” Y/N replied, playing with an apple. “I was planning on hanging out with Jughead but he’s busy, so I’m down.” Veronica clapped her hands excited as Y/N turned around to face the blonde girl in front of them.
“Do you wan to come with us Betty?” She asked, offering her a kind smile.
Although Jughead was the first person she met in Riverdale, it was actually Veronica who introduced her to the rest of her friends. They were very nice, easily getting along with her and including her in their little group dynamics. They were all very welcoming, except for one person: Betty.
She wasn’t rude or insulting, but she wasn’t necessarily thrilled whenever Y/N was around. She avoided Y/N like the plague, being cold and cutting every time she spoke to her.
Despite Betty’s obvious dislike of her, Y/N kept trying to approach her and made sure she knew she was always included in her plans with Veronica, but she was never interested.
That was the main reason why Jughead was a bit hesitant to spend time with Betty when they first started dating. Y/N took notice of this and instantly reassured him that no matter what, she understood how important Betty was to him and actually, encouraged him to hang out with her.
But no matter what she did, it was never enough to get Betty to stop acting the way she did.
“I’m busy today.” She curtly replied. “Jughead and I are going to work on an article for The Blue and Gold.” Betty took a look at Y/N’s face while raising her brow.
Jughead cringed on his place, trying to shield himself from everybody’s looks that were now focused on him. Y/N could tell that everyone tensed at Betty’s statement, but she didn’t understand why. Of course she was confused on why would Jughead would hide that from her, when he usually told her whenever he was going to hang out with Betty, but it wasn’t anything worthy of that reaction. They were childhood friends after all. There was nothing wrong with them wanting to hang out for a day.
“Cool, I’m looking forward to read whatever you guys come up with.” Y/N said with a smile on her face, causing Archie, Veronica and Kevin to look at her with wide eyes.
The atmosphere on the table became awkward after that, and no one seemed to know how to break the silence. The only sound filling their ears, being the chatter from the tables around them.
There was something more complicated regarding Betty and Jughead, and concern was already planting itself on Y/N’s mind.
-
“So what do you think, peel off or clay mask?” Veronica asked Y/N showing her two containers of face masks. Y/N sighed and dropped her head.
“Ronnie can I ask you a question?” she said, randomly changing the subject, causing a frown to appear on her friend’s face.
“Sure, what’s up?” she replied as she placed both products on the table.
“Why was everyone so tense when Betty said she would be hanging out wth Jughead?” As if on cue, Veronica’s back straightened, her whole body rigid with tension. She rubbed her forehead with her fingers and sighed while a serious expression took over her face.
“You really don’t know anything about Jughead and Betty’s history, do you?”
“They are childhood friends and they are really close…what about it?” Y/N inquired, still confused on why was that such a big deal to everyone else.
“That’s not what I meant.” Veronica said shaking her head. She shifted in her place, bracing herself for what she was about to tell her. “So you already know how Archie broke Betty’s heart, right?” Y/n nodded. “After that happened, Jughead came into the picture. He started to get really close with Betty always being there for her. Apparently they had a thing for each other… until you came.”
“Wha-what?” Saying that she felt overwhelmed was an understatement. She nearly felt dizzy at the news.
“That’s why Betty doesn’t like you. You basically stole Jughead away from her, even though you weren’t aware of that.” she flinched as she recalled her first week in Riverdale. “I mean two heartbreaks in a row, is not something easy to deal with.”
“Oh God.” Y/N shut her eyes, desperately trying to get a grip of her emotions.
“That’s also why we all looked at you like you were crazy when you were so cool about it. It wasn’t normal for you to react that way when Betty pretty much rubbed on your face that she was going to be alone with Jughead.” she frowned. “It’s very weird because Betty is one of the nicest girls I know, so it’s interesting to watch her being so defensive.”
She felt the wind being knocked out of her and her chest felt heavy with uncertainty. She had been so oblivious to the relationship between Betty and Jughead had before she came. It all made so much sense now.
Now that everything was on the table, she couldn’t help but to feel a bit insecure. She trusted Jughead, but it was such a messed up situation there was no telling how it could end. Besides, she didn’t understand why Jughead had been keeping something that important from her.
“But don’t overthink Y/N, he’s wrapped around your finger. You have nothing to worry about.” she comforted her rubbing her knee, before going back to the face masks.
-
Little by little, insecurity spread through Y/N’s system taking over her rational thoughts and drowning her in an ocean of self destruction. The realization that if it wasn’t for her, Jughead and Betty would most likely be together, hit her like a truck.
Her confidence had received a major blow and she didn’t know how to handle it. How can you compete with the perfect green eyed beauty that is your boyfriend’s childhood friend? It’s even worse when you get the news that at some point, they were romantically interested in each other.
Y/N was doing exactly what Veronica told her not to do. She was over thinking everything that revolved around Betty and Jughead.
She couldn’t help but notice every time that Betty touched Jughead whenever she was speaking to him. How she always giggled at his minimum sarcastic comment. How in every difficult situation, she always relied on Jughead to make it better. And the worst part, the way Jughead seemed to have a soft spot for her as he let his guard down completely around her.
Y/N was on the brink of paranoia. She had already pictured every single worst case scenario, feeling guilty a couple of hours later for doubting of Jughead.
But it was practically impossible to get rid of her thoughts when Jughead had been blowing her off the last few weeks, because he had already made plans with Betty.
In numerous occasions she asked him to hang out, but every single time he gave her the same excuses.
“Betty has a lot on her mind lately.” “Betty needs my help for The Blue and Gold.” “Betty wants to do some research.”
No matter what, Betty only wanted Jughead’s help and no one else’s. And Jughead couldn’t refuse her the help that she needed, without any second thoughts.
And one can only take so much rejection before giving up. And she had had enough.
She started to withdraw from Jughead. Not avoiding him, but she wasn’t looking for his attention anymore.
Her pain wasn’t about Betty and Jughead’s past at all. It was the fact that he seemed to choose Betty over her all the time, not dividing his time between the two of them. He didn’t have time to be with her anymore and his carelessness was killing her.
Her friends noticed the change in her behavior. Especially because, even if it wasn’t her intention, she was also withdrawing from them with her mind always wandering elsewhere. She didn’t smile as often as she used to and when she did, it looked forced. She didn’t participate in the group’s conversations, keeping quiet at all times. And despite everyone asking her if something was wrong, she didn’t open up to anyone, always dismissing her mood.
But all her friends agreed that she looked pretty defeated.
That went on for some days, until one day Jughead caught her in the hallway between classes.
“Hey.” he greeted her, securing an arm around her shoulders. “I feel like I haven’t seen you in forever.” she felt her heart break a little when his lips placed a kiss on her temple.
“Yeah, it’s been a while.” she awkwardly said with a grimace, focusing her gaze on the floor.
“I was thinking that we could go to Pop’s tonight.” she showed her that cute little smile of his. “I know we haven’t been able to hang out and I really want to spend some time with you. I’ve missed you.” he brushed his nose against her cheek, wordlessly telling her, he had been craving her touch.
But as cute and adorable as he was acting at the moment, she couldn’t bring herself to push her heartache away.
“I-I can’t tonight Jug, sorry.” she avoided his gaze as she quickly escaped from his embrace, taking fast steps towards her next class.
Jughead stood in the middle of the hallway with his arm stretched to her, a hurt and confused expression plastered on his face. It was now clear, that whatever was going on with her, it was way deeper than he originally thought.
She tied up her sneakers and threw on her jacket before setting off to Archie’s house. She knew it was a bit late for a talk, but hopefully Jughead would be as understanding and kind as always. He never failed to be there for her.
She knocked on the door and waited for a few seconds before Jughead opened the door.
His expression morphed into a mix of confusion and nervousness in a flash. Maybe Archie’s dad was already home and didn’t like any late night visits.
“Hey.” he breathed. “What are you doing here?”
“I needed to see you.” she peeked behind him, to see if someone was around. “Is Archie home?”
“No, why?” he turned around to look inside for a bit, mainly to avoid looking her in the eye.
“I have to talk to you about something.” she pushed, trying hard to caught his gaze.
“Now’s not a good time Y/N.”Jughead fidgeted on his feet, his head shaking.
“I know it’s late but I-“ her sentence was cut short by a very familiar voice.
“Juggie who is it?” Betty asked, appearing from behind, placing her hand on Jughead’s shoulder to rest her chin on top of it. Y/N sighed frustrated, his previous behavior now making sense.
“Figures.” she scoffed before turning around, moving far away from the house as fast as she could without looking desperate.
“Y/N wait!” he yelled, the sound of a door closing hitting her ears. She quickened her pace once she heard his rushed footsteps approaching. Soon, he caught up to her and grabbed her arm, stopping her on her tracks. “Hey it’s-it’s not what it looks like. You know she’s only my friend.” he stumbled over his words, looking a bit frantic.
“I know you’re not cheating on me Jughead, I trust you enough to know that you wouldn’t do that.” she exclaimed offended.
“The why are you so upset?” he grabbed her faced with a concerned look. “I know something’s wrong but I thought you needed some space to figure things out before you wanted to talk about it.” Y/N sighed, bracing herself for the conversation that she had been avoiding for so long.
“Why didn’t you tell me that you and Betty had thing for each other before I came?” Jughead’s face immediately turned pale, his mouth going completely dry. Y/N knew she hit the nail on the head with her question.
“I-I don’t know.” he whispered. “It’s not a big deal.”
“It is when that’s the reason why Betty dislikes me so much.” she brushed a hand trough her hair frustratedly. “You know I don’t mind that you want to spend time with your friends, but lately you’ve been spending a lot of your time with Betty. So much, that we actually stopped hanging out altogether, because you’re always with her.”
“Don’t be like that. You know that Betty is going through a lot.” he defended her, his voice rising with anger.
“Jughead I’ve been avoiding this conversation for a while because I didn’t want to come off as crazy or obsessive. And tonight I finally decided that I’ve had enough and that I needed to talk to you about it, but once again I’m being blown off because of Betty!”
“She needs me!” they were both yelling at this point and it was very likely that the neighbors were listening to their argument.
“I need you too!” she screeched as her eyes became glassy. She took a deep breath before continuing, now with a lower voice. “But I don’t want to be competing with Betty for your time, and most definitely I’m not going to put you in a position where you have to choose between us.” she pushed back her tears, not wanting to break in front of him. “I’m tired Jughead. I don’t want to be stuck in this situation anymore.” Jughead closed his fists by his sides, his chest rising and falling in quick breaths.
“Fine. If that’s what you want.” he bitterly replied clenching his jaw before stomping back to Archie’s house, slamming the door behind him.
She turned around, finally letting out all her bottled up emotions, the tears falling freely from her eyes.
I’m proud to announce that am I back in the marching band community not only as an instructor but a member of Fusion Core Drum and Bugle Corps!! That being said, most of you know that membership dues are pretty steep especially for a full time college student that works 2 (going on 3) part time jobs. Please take a moment to consider supporting this dream of mine and donating and/or sharing! Anything helps! Thank you so much, everyone!
Hey, if y'all could please share this!!! Could really use the help!!!
Pairing: Fred x Reader
Request: Hi, i love you’re writing so much! cn i request a oneshot where YN pranks Fred and he ends up confessing that he loves her or something like that and just really fluffy and all the Gryffindors all ship it and stuff! thanks!
A/N: this will come of no surprise to you, but I’m still a bit drunk from last night and am battling a hangover, so please pardon any errors!
Squicks: slight innuendo
Fred and George certainly live up to their pranking reputations: they had somehow cast a spell or spiked your drink or something so that every time you open your mouth to speak, you make dolphin noises. You weren’t best friends with them or anything like that, but you did get along pretty well. Rather than scolding them on their stupid (yet admittedly funny) prank, you had a better idea: get them back.
The next morning, you knocked on the door of the boys’ dormitory. You had Potions this morning in about half an hour and hadn’t even had breakfast, and you had lent Fred Weasley your text book the night before.
“Hey Y/n, whatcha need?” his identical twin asked, tightening his tie as he opened the door,
“I lent Fred my book last night and we’ve got Potions soon… Is he still in bed?” You ask, peering around George to see, as you suspected, Fred still in his bed.
George turns around to face his brother and gives a chuckle, “yeah, he woke up for a bit about an hour ago, saying something about how we are in our prime youth and we can’t afford to waste it on shitty teachers or something like that”.
A few of the other Gryffindor boys said good morning to you as you walk into the room, up to Fred’s bed with your hands on your hips, shaking your head with a smile on your face, laughing “what an idiot”.
Now, in your head, you had planned to just get your revenge by turning his possessions into otters or something this afternoon, but now you were having second thoughts. Not because Fred looks adorable still sleeping or anything, but rather the fact that you had just seen a better opportunity for pranking him.
“Anyway, I can grab that book for you if you— WOW what are you doing?!” George asks in alarm.
You had just took your shirt off, leaving you standing in the middle of the boys’ dormitory in a bra and pyjama shorts,
You earn a few wolf-whistles and quiet “what the hell”s, before turning around to face George, “Getting him back,” you reply, “but unlike you, I don’t need to use magic,” you say with a smile, as you carefully pull back the covers of Fred’s bed and slide in next to him, taking off your shorts as well once you’re covered and tossing them out the side of the bed.
Fred was fast asleep, lying on his back with his arm stretched out next to him, where you rested your head and lay on your side facing him. At this point all of the boys in the common room were standing around the bed, looking at the two of you with quizzical looks.
Fred began to stir, before lazily rolling onto his side, his other arm instinctively wrapping around you. The boys in the room all try and muffle their laughters to not wake Fred, but it didn’t work as he gave a little jump to the sudden noise, his eyes fluttering open to see you pretending to be asleep in his arms.
“What the hell?” Fred asks himself in a whisper.
You take this as the right time to pretend to wake up. You open your eyes, looking at Fred with a smile, “Morning, Freddie,” you say in a flirty voice, moving closer to him and placing a hand on his bare chest and nuzzling your head into the crook of his neck. The boys all standing around began to holler, laugh and whistle at the two of you, especially Fred with his eyes widened and looking around frantically.
“Class is in ten minutes you two, you better get dressed Y/n,” George says.
Fred’s eyes open even wider somehow, as he (without thinking his actions through fully) pulls the covers up to see your half naked body, his mouth dropping,
“Fred!” You squeal, tucking into a ball and giggling a little, as he quickly covers you up again, turning onto his back with his free hand clasped over his mouth, staring up at the ceiling in shock.
The boys in the dormitory were clearly stalling, packing and unpacking their books so that they could stay to see what happens.
“Fred…” you began in a worried voice, “…Don’t you remember what happened last night?”
Fred looked over at you, on your side propped up on one elbow to see him properly. He admires you for a moment, taking in the way your hair falls around your shoulders, and your eyes staring into his… Those eyes are what made him fall in love with you when he first met you.
After a few moments of silence and Fred staring at you, you mumble “how could you”.
“Wait, Y/n, I can explain—“ Fred begins, but is cut off by your abrupt actions,
“HOW COULD YOU FRED WEASLEY?!” You scream as you jump out of bed, grabbing a pillow and begin whacking him with it, “HOW COULD YOU NOT REMEMBER, YOU DICK!”
“Y/N IM SORRY, I DON’T KNOW WHAT’S GOING ON,” Fred shouts back in panic as he covers his head with his arms to try and block the pillow,
“Do you really think that little of me?! Do you seriously not care enough about me to even remember what we did last night, HOW COULD YOU DO THIS TO ME?!” you start to sob loudly and over exaggeratingly, throwing the pillow one last time, before turning around where you stood so your back was facing him, as you bury your face in your hands and pretend to cry loudly.
The boys in the common room had stopped being discreet about staying in the room now, their full attention on you and Fred, who was sat up in bed with his hands in his hair looking terrified.
“Y/n, I’m so sorry… I don’t know why I can’t remember, honestly I…” Fred stops to take a deep, shaky breath, before he too buries his face in his hands, shaking his head. You had started to think that you may have taken this too far, since he looked really worried, but before you could tell him it was all a joke, he continued,
“Y/n, I’ve loved you from our first day at Hogwarts… I don’t know what’s happened… I’ve been wanting to tell you how I feel for so long now… And I don’t know what’s happening…” Fred says as he stands in front of you, holding your hands in his, his eyes starting to water, “I just woke up and you were… I’d never use you like that Y/n I promise, I’m so so sorry…” he says before legitimately crying, shaking his head.
“Oh God, Fred, no!” You say frantically, wrapping him in a tight hug, feeling really really bad now.
The boys that had decided to stay back all “awww’d” and gave worried looks to one another.
“Fred… Shit, nothing happened, it was fake!” you say worriedly,
Fred looks up, his eyes red and puffy, “What?” he croaks out,
“Freddie, I got into your bed just before you woke up, i wanted to trick you into thinking that something happened last night and I didn’t mean for it to get this far… God Fred, I’m so sorry,” You can see the hurt in his eyes, realising that he had not only been tricked into thinking he had taken advantage of you, but also, he had just confessed his love for you.
“But Fred, what you said about loving me… I hope that was true,” you say hopefully, “Because I’ve loved you for a while now too”.
“Okay boys, now it’s time to leave,” George says as he ushers people out of the room, leaving you two alone.
“You’re not just saying that because you feel sorry for me, are you?” Fred asks hesitantly,
“No Fred, I’m not lying to you again, I promise. It got way too out of hand and I didn’t think of how it would all turn out and I just—”
Before you could finish rambling your apologies, Fred’s arms had pulled you towards him, and he had attached his lips to yours. Not forcefully, but gently yet abruptly.
The two of you stood there in his dormitory kissing for what felt like ages, yet still not long enough, before breaking away,
“I’ll admit, it was a pretty good prank, Y/n,” Fred chuckles, looking down at you, “But what I like even better is the view I’m getting right now,”
You remember that you were still in nothing but your lingerie, quickly bending down to retrieve your clothes and hurriedly put them back on, Fred laughing as you do so.
Once you were dressed and had both stopped giggling, you wrap your arms around his neck, “Fred, I honestly am sorry about scaring you like that,” you say sincerely,
“Don’t be, the outcome was worth it,” He says, before tilting your head upwards so that he can kiss you again, making it clear that Potions wasn’t happening today.
