i usually HATE when kids talk during movies, but i saw detective pikachu today and everytime a pokemon would show up he’d say to his grandma “thats bulbasaur!” “thats mr mime!” etc., id just be like “✊😔 legend”
the kid behind me named a pokemon i didn’t know and i’ve never been so thankful for a theater full of children before
Took my three younger cousins but kept the whole evening a total surprise for them.
I even got my theatre co workers to keep it quiet what I was taking them to, once the movie started and you see that first Cubone (they recognized that one first)
The youngest fucking Screamed “A CUBONE!!!!!”
Like 5 people in the audience laughed and a few aww’d back lmaooo
