I'm so happy you are still having fun reading this story/web comic years after it was posted. I can't believe the energy I had back then. I don't think I'll be able to work on such a project today (less time and less energy too 😅).

Speaking of, I haven't forgotten that I have to draw a Steve/Bucky artwork for my followers (they voted "Steve/Bucky" when I asked them in a poll what they wanted to see from me next). I'm sorry I haven't started yet but I'm drawing far less this year (well, I'm posting far less: I'm still drawing but mainly stuff for me, for my apartment, etc...I'm working on small items too, in short: I'm spoiling myself). 2023 is for me the "cool year". I'll be back to big Marvel series and a more regular posting at the end of year but for the moment however, I'm just slacking a bit, it's good. 😎

First of all, I really love your art, especially those from Sherlock

Thank you so much for the great feedback about my art, particularly about my Sherlock artworks. It's very kind of you ^^

I posted two new ones yesterday and I have a couple more I want to post soon. I also would love to work on a new Marvel series but this year, I'm really busy (even more than usual) so I haven't found the time to work on such a big project yet. 😅

I noticed you draw them sometimes with tattoos, which give them a really nice touch and remind me of another saga in which I am really into, Ryu Ga Gotoku 0 (Yakuza 0).

I know about this game even if, to be honest, I haven't played video games in AGES. I mean, I have a PS4 at home but I use it mainly as a Bluray player. I love the aesthetic of Ryu Ga Gotoku, it's beautiful, and I really enjoy how they used the Kabukichō as an inspiration for Kamurochō, the screenshots from the game are very inspirational went it comes to colors and light. Otherwise, yes, you are right, I love drawing some characters with tattoos like Sherlock, Bucky or Tony.

Thank you so much for your kind words about my art and for paying attention to all the little details. Even when I say that I want to draw something simple, I just can't, I'm very bad at it. 😅

I think the next thing I'm going to post will be an IronStrange art then, some Mystrade (Mycroft Holmes/Greg Lestrade). I also have to work on the Steve/Bucky artwork people voted for HERE. I want something sweet but I don't know yet if I'm going to work on some "1940s Stucky" or "2023 Stucky".

I hear things are a bit crazy in Paris right now

You heard right 😁

But not only in Paris. President Macron thought that things were going to calm down with time and that people/unions were going to back down eventually but, spoilers....he was wrong! 😅 Each side is sticking to its position, so I don't think that this situation is going to be solved any time soon.

In addition to the transportation strikes, riots, and demonstrations we also have a dustmen strike in Paris (for the same reason: the new retirement law + their work conditions) so the whole city is turning into a dumpster. You also have the people working at waste incineration sites that are on strike, so it's not only the dustmen, it's the whole chain.

I was in the center of Paris this morning (5th district) and here is what the city looks like at the moment:

I'm supporting the dustmen but I'm not going to lie, I'm concerned about rats. The places I visited this morning were ok, but in my area it's turning into "Ratatouille City" (more than usual, I mean 😅)

Life is very long, when you're lonely - (2023)

I gathered in this post all the BBC Sherlock speed paintings / artworks I did between December 2022 and March 2023. I did them at first to practice lights and textures but I ended up with a series centered around loneliness, grief and...means of transportations.

[The anon is talking about this artwork]. This artwork is SO self-indulgent, it's not even funny. I didn't do it for a fic or anything. I just wanted to see Sherlock sporting tattoos, that's it. 😝 Ok, the artwork went a bit out of hand: John wasn't supposed to be here and there was no background either but...one things leading to another, what was just a sketch ended up in a full color artwork with a caption.

I have a couple of other Sherlock artworks to post but I think that my next post with be either IronStrange or Cowboy Castiel.
