A little update <3

I still read all of your lovely replies! I have not given up on art my friends! I have even started my own webcomic on webtoon! It’s called Seth In Space and it would mean a lot to me if you would support me there! Love you all and happy halloween!!

I’m so happy to tell you all that I’ve made great progress with my mental health!! To genuinely be able to say that I feel happy is so liberating and free! I know a lot of you are still in that dark place. I’m here to say that it does get better. Much better! I still have some tough days but progress is progress! Be kind and gentle to yourselves. I love you all and thank you to everyone who’s supported me over the years!

HAPPY HALLOWEEN!!

I tried to resist this for a long time, I really did. The LAST thing I need is to get myself caught up in another story. But, well… I thought so much about him after I made his design in this post. WD!Steven was NOT letting me rest.

Also, I’m a person of little self-control, so of course I made an ask-WhitePearl-and-Steven blog. Who knows how often that will update, but hopefully it will… eventually.

Two years ago on this day, I made an askblog on a whim in order to indulge my idea of a White Diamond Steven AU.

To date, I’ve drawn 3 seasons of this story, over 170 comics in total.

To everyone who has ever read the comics, even if it’s only a few of them - thank you! I couldn’t have done it without your help! With your support and excitement, and your questions, we have made this into something amazing!

THE COCOAPUFF GIRLS

So about this project. For awhile now I’ve noticed almost every single time I see a darker skinned black woman “going viral”, she’s half naked, oiled up, and/or sexualized in some way shape or form. It’s very rarely ever “Look at this amazing dark skinned woman who accomplished this thing.” Or “Look at her smile, she’s gorgeous”.  Please don’t misinterpret what I’m saying. There is nothing wrong with darker women and black women in general being free and expressive about their sexuality and provocative features. BUT that is NOT ALL they are. They are so much more than sexual beings, but for some reason, that seems to be almost the only thing that grabs viral appreciation. So here’s my attempt to have darker skinned black women go viral for just being cute, creative, stylish, bubbly, beautiful, and black. Aside from the videographer EVERYONE involved in this project IS A BLACK WOMAN. I hope you guys like it. I ask that if you enjoyed this and agree with my objective, share it with a few people please.

I don’t know if you guys are following the @badpredictionau but you absolutely should be. ;) It’s run by two amazing artists -  @jigokuhana and @wilted3sunflowers - and the storyline is about an alternate timeline in which Sapphire’s prediction - that Pink Diamond would be taken down by Blue Diamond and the Rebellion would end - comes true. 

The story picks up 5000 years later, when Pink Diamond (forced back into her Diamond role as a puppet leader and stripped of all power except for her control of the Human Zoo) meets Greg as one of the Zoomans, falls in love with him, and decides to have a child. 

They’ve recently decided to start a linear storyline, so I wanted to celebrate by drawing WD!Steven with his brother(?) exploring the human zoo together. They’d have a lot to talk about, but I think they would also enjoy playing together.
