It’s December which means the dreaded “Finals Season”. Currently studying for a finance exam that is 65% of our grade, I personally have never had an exam weigh that much. I plan to spend the most time studying for this exam, although the accounting exam will be hard as shit lol I have an A in accounting so I’m trying to give that less weight but finance can go any which way. Anyway, my mba cohort is very cliquey and it reminds me of middle school. They all are so obsessed with their grades and they ask everyone how they’ve done and it puts me in a place where I don’t want to be. I want to be more focused on my career than on my grades. Anyway, I need to remember that all I need to get is a C in my courses, that’s what I’m going to aim for…

Passed another exam today! This one was about Slovene literature from its beginnings until the mid-19th century, so I finally got to study about something I truly care about. This exam period is dragging on forever, but at least I don’t feel bad about staying in all the time in this cold weather 🌨️

Ahh, the last days of summer. What a nice summer it has been, too. I am looking forward to fall though, as always. I just love fall recipes. Pumpkin, nutmeg, cinnamon, apple. There is something so comforting about the leaves changing on the trees, the crisp air, the football games. It's a magical time.
