You know that scene where Obi Wan mentions not giving a blaster to Leia cuz she’s only 10 yo? It’s funny cuz I was working on a comic following the events of this illustration but ended up not finishing it. Here the kids were being babysat by Rex. He gave Leia a real blaster because wooden blaster are no fun. “The kid has to learn how to shoot somehow, right?” Anakin, Padmè, and Obi Wan come back from an important meeting to get the kids and realize what Rex gave her. Padmè and Obi- Wan both run towards her concerned, trying to get rid of the uncivilized thing, but Anakin lowkey thinks it’s the coolest thing ever.
