Welcome to my blog 𓃵

hello and welcome to my blog! you can call me ni or nipenthii. i made this personal blog to reblog stuff i find funny, appealing images or any form of art, share my thoughts or personal experiences, and post about my art. i am a greek artist and draw inspiration from daily life, animals, human emotions and experiences, childhood years, cultures, other works such as books, series and video games. i do not feel the need to state the works i'm into in particular, as i scarcely make art about them.

i was using the name Vaporeon Jedi back in the day, when i was active on G+, but decided to drop it and not associate with it anymore. however, if you are a former g+ user or remember me please add me, as i want to keep in touch with my past mutuals. today, i use pelagisio algos, pelagisia thlipsis or just nipenthii.

here you can find my instagram account, where i post exclusively my art

my steam account, in case you want to play online games toghether

the language surrounding so much of kink and BDSM culture just creeps me out like I hate how everything is called "play"... impact play, breath play, knife play. Just say that punching people makes your dick hard without sanitizing it. And how they call having sex a "scene"... that makes it sound like a corporate event instead of a genuine moment of connection between people 🤨

For those who don’t follow kakapo conservation, they are critically endangered parrots who only breed on years where the rimu tree they rely on meet a certain threshold of fruit production. One breeding season in 4 years can be typical, and about half of all eggs laid by kakapo are infertile (they still aren’t completely certain why, it could be a recent population bottleneck) so each fertile egg is worth its weight in gold.

This was one of only 5 fertile eggs laid on the Whenua Hou island population in the 2014 breeding season and it got crushed by its mother on accident. It was mended with glue and tape and incubated by the rangers until hatching.

At 150 days old kakapo chicks are officially added to the population total and given a unique name, until then they are given their mother’s name and a number for birth order laid in the clutch. This chick was known as Lisa-one before officially being given the name Ruapuke by local indigenous Ngai Tahu people. Here he is grown up:
