My first thought upon waking was of my Nana, and I went straight to my tackle box of costume jewelry to find her Clinton/Gore campaign pin. Nana was a lifelong Texan, a die hard democrat, an anti racist, a lover of nature and the environment, a STEM major from the University Of Texas, a divorced single mother of four, and a wearer of oversized plastic jewelry and plus sized two piece swimsuits. My feelings on voting Clinton are complicated to say the least, but I know how Nana would vote if she was still with us, and I hope she'd be proud of me.
