To believe that people who do use these terms without care are going to take the time to look up if what they are doing is wrong, is ignorant in itself.

I’m not here to spread hate, and people want to paint me as a racist for bringing direct attention to these issues then that’s their objective.

I’m not the kind of person to try and find ways to hurt people. There is enough of that in world. I hope you find you peace.

You are absolutely right. It’s not something I have the right to use. But I must ask, did you actually read my *post, or just see the words and get mad? The purpose of my post was strictly educational, and not something I use lightly. I apologize if I offended you. That was never the intent, as was implied in the post itself. I recognize that using such horrid language is NOT okay, and what was written was not a racial jab or meant as a form of disrespect.

I’m not going to apologize for telling people directly what words are harmful to use however. Transparency on these topics is important. If you want ignorant or uneducated people to stop, you need them to be informed rather than just vaguely referencing something that they are then able to brush aside.

There are limited amount of Black, coloured and Romani people living where I do, and a surplus of entitled white racists. If you get mad at your allies defending you when there is little of the minority to do so then you allow the hateful people to continue their rage upon the principle of “No one ever told me it wasn’t okay.” As much as I hate it, life requires us to be blunt sometimes.

I kindly ask you direct your hate elsewhere, as there is none here. I hope you and yours are happy, healthy, and safe.
