What in the self-isolating-but-upset-when-nobody-asks-eldest-daughter-maybe-I'm-the-problem-mirrorball-this-is-me-trying kinda call out is this blondie??

Media with immaculate vibes:

A Series of Unfortunate Events (Netflix show)

Scooby-Doo Mystery Incorporated (show)

Gravity Falls (Disney show)

Treasure Planet (Disney film)

Mystery Files (YouTube)

A Series of Unfortunate Events (film)

The Spiderwick Chronicles (film)

Atlantis the Lost Empire (Disney film)

Lockwood and Co (Netflix show) (please save it)

Eldest daughters are out here having nightmares & war flashbacks if their younger siblings even insinuate that the eldest doesn’t care about them.

Inside is just this screaming broken person saying: no please what else can I do to make you feel loved? Please please know I love you I can't bear the thought that you have ever questioned my love for you

How kids wake each other
Oldest waking up siblings: Goodmorning baby sis/brother. Here is some juice and some breakfast. You have an hour to get ready. The weather is (this) Your schedule is (gives a detailed schedule). I'll check on you in fifteen minutes, okay?
Middle child: *sees siblings coming out of their rooms confused as they're about to leave* Oh shit, was I supposed to wake you up? I thought it was a prank!
Youngest child: *comes in silently. Rips the pillow from underneath your head, hits you in the face with it. Body slams you. Opens the curtains to let the sun in. Leaves.*

I keep thinking about how badass and cool Puss’s character is but then I see pics of him like this and I’m like omg he’s just a lil meow meow

so uhh lukewarm take here but i actually love it when a villain acknowledges their motives.....and then just stays evil.

single favourite asoue netflix episode was when count olaf just went "yeah y'know what maybe i do have trauma maybe i am an orphan maybe my best friend killed my father and maybe i've never felt like i'm enough for anyone."......and then proceeded to burn down a hotel.

hordak finally explaining his tragic backstory and then just staying evil for almost the whole next season.

wilford warfstache who's literally just "haha yeah i have a lot of issues [keeps stabbing you]"

ezra squall casually talking about all his dead friends with morrigan.

i just love it as a trope. and it's always about characters that are so beyond redemption that their motives can essencially be treated not as a redeeming quality, but rather as a joke or a plot device. i love it.

since my writing post was received pretty well, i though i’d make other, to give some insight on the racism in the film industry and why it’s still a big problem now as it was in the past.
