New video essay. This one is on scene transitions in The Matrix.
But seriously...what if John Woo directed Squirrel Girl?
Starring Chloe Holgate and Jake Torpey with Scott Thomas, Kendra James, Matt Torpey, Mac Costello, Zac MacKrell, Ben Torpey, Bryan Reid, and the voice of Chad Ruhle.
This was heavily inspired by The Unbeatable Squirrel Girl by Ryan North & Erica Henderson. That comic is the best.

MERRY CHRISTMAS. HERE’S THE 2016 CHRISTMAS VIDEO.
IT’S A CHRISTMAS MYSTERY, AKA “CHRISTMYSTERY”
After seeing your video essay regarding about MCU films issues with color grading, what are your thoughts on "Spider-Man Homecoming" Trailer compared to "Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2" Trailer color grading?
I guess I’m going to get questions about this every time Marvel releases a trailer. Which isn’t a bad thing. So, Spider-Man: Homecoming, while the movie looks good, has the exact same bland looking color grading as all the other MCU movies. Guardians 2 looks like an improvement, which I attribute to a combination of the camera change, good lighting/art direction, and James Gunn having more control. But some parts (in particular the last scene) look really flat and ugly.
But honestly, I’m basing this on compressed YouTube videos, so the actual finished products could always look better.
It’s Christmas time, so obviously I made a video essay about Shane Black.
Since Fox is apparently making an action movie about the life of Stan Lee, here’s my pitch to direct it.
