All 200 people died from a sudden and severe hailstorm.Trapped in the valley with nowhere to hide or seek shelter, the “hard as iron” cricket ball-sized [about 23 centimeter/9 inches circumference] hailstones came by the thousands, resulting in the travelers’ bizarre sudden death. The remains lay in the lake for 1,200 years until their discovery.”

Id probably jump in the lake too cause the hail would slow down in the water, but like an idiot id run out of breath and come up for air, and then get bludgeoned to death.

Article 13 got approved and that means the internet will be censored for all countries under the EU. If that happens, it’s likely bloggers from affected countries cannot post content anymore. I wouldn’t be able to post gifs, edits, icons, anything anymore. Even adding links to posts could cost money. You can get more information here and here or simply using google to find information from a source you trust. On the EU-Bullshit:

Guys, Article 13 is a serious threat to everything LITERALLY everything the internet stands for. Mainly: freedom of speech and freedom of information. The law should be used to provide guidelines for the citizens living under the law. Article 13 does the exact opposite! It is not clear which actions will be legal and which actions will be illegal under Article 13. The law should state clearly which behavior is punishable.

The major problem with Article 13: It was created by people, who do not use the internet on a daily basis. It not just some “The older generation doesn’t understand us”- bullshit, no not this time. They actually do not understand, what the internet is used by younger generations. How could they? The generation, that relies mostly on paper-written news, created this Article. Next question to that: Will it be illegal for me to share a news article under Article 13? I don’t fucking know.

It’s not just about “saving memes”, it’s so much more! We grew up in a world, with so much information. We always knew what was going on in the world. Not just from our point of view but from the point of view from the people all over the world. The internet is not just about sharing funny images and shit with your friends, no it’s also about connecting the world as cheesy as it’s sounds. It’s a place of learning and understanding. Without the mass of information, do you think we would’ve ever known about kpop here in Germany? Learned about a new culture? New points of views? Learning and connecting has never been this easy and we should not let them take that away from us.

Of course, copyright is important. But is censorship the price to pay for copyright? Is intellectual property more important then freedom of speech? I don’t think so. It’s not just black and white. Sharing content, creating content is also free advertisement for many, many companies. So let me ask you: Who is the one profiting from this censorship? No one! What are they trying to achieve? How do they want to make sure that a shitty algorithm solves all the fucking copyright issues? Oh yeah, it worked out so well on youtube, right? They can’t fix everything by censoring everything.
