sometimes i think about an engport date in an art museum and i have to yell a little bit out my window. just a little bit. or maybe a lot.
Now please imagine them doing one of the set activities some of the art museums I’ve been to do, which is set up easels and pencils/chalks around a statue/art installation and encourage the public to draw the piece. Them comparing art styles! Because I’m of the opinion that England’s artistic style, when he gets into it (and isn’t drawing quick diagrams on boards for allies and/or children), tends to be smoky/smudgy with bold lines through it: no really wild interpretations of the subject matter - he draws stuff to look like what it actually looks like -, but the lighting/shading tends to carry emotion.
Meanwhile Portugal is pretty good at drawing all kinds of lines - straight and curved - freehand (so many years drawing maps), and seems to have a general understanding of art? But. His actual representation of the subject matter is called ‘abstract’ if you’re being kind to him, and ‘…is that roadkill, a seal or an amorphous murderous blob?’ if you’re not.
…
Anyway, one benefit of an art museum over your regular history museum is that there is a greatly reduced (but not entirely eradicated) risk of a Nation walking into one and going ‘hey, didn’t that used to be mine?’
now im imagining port has the demonic ability to draw perfect circles free hand and really how is he this powerful who made him god of free hand circles
