10 minutes until self destruct

September 2020 happenings! ✨

September is here to clean things up. Get organized and be productive. We find that imperfections are ok. Time to stop being so hard on yourself. Bouts of impatience will occur. But overall we are learning how to take things in stride better. We find ourselves more mutable and adaptable towards problem solving. 2 planets come out of Retrograde and 1 goes retrograde.

September 1st/2nd: Full Moon in Pisces-what irritations come up and how can we see the bigger picture? Lessons of connection.

September 5th: Mercury moves into Libra-communication becomes tinged with diplomacy and justice. What is fair. What is right?

September 6th: Venus moves into Leo-all the shiny things, how love is shown is by grand gestures and passion. Party time.

September 9th: Mars turns retrograde-time to re-evaluate goals. Our life force becomes internalized, things from the past come up.

September 12th: Jupiter turns direct-the inner faith and focus we have been working on turns outward.

September 17th: New Moon in Virgo-improving ourselves, our lives, our plans. We feel focused towards our goals.

September 22nd: Sun moves into Libra-overall themes of balance and fairness, connecting with others. Sharing time and space. Pleasures of the mind.

September 27th: Mercury moves into Scorpio-communication becomes tinged with intensity. The need to find out the truth and investigates people’s thoughts and what they say.

September 29th: Saturn turns direct-the obstacles and road blocks we have been experiencing open up. Goals feel more reachable.

PROTECTION SPELL BOTTLE

a simple spell bottle to protect yourself mentally, physically and spiritually

WHAT YOU NEED :

  • salt - protection, purification
  • cinnamon - protection, speeds up spells, courage
  • rosemary - protection, purification
  • chilli flakes - ward of unwanted energies
  • bay - protection against hexes and curses
  • basil- peace, protection, drive away evil
  • ginger - make spells more powerful, protection
  • black pepper - protection
  • oak leaves- protection, wisdom
  • egg shells - protection
  • lavender - peace, healing, protection
  • sage (please don’t use white sage) - protection, purification
  • paper
  • pen
  • spell bottle jar
  • candles : i used a white one and the also the wax from my deity candles on my alter

WHAT TO DO:

  1. as always, ground yourself and cast a circle in the way you prefer
  2. light all your candles, you can also light some insence if you’d like
  3. in no particular order, add all your herbs into the jar (using a funnel - even if you make one from paper, can be really helpful), focussing on intent
  4. create a sigil with the intent of protection using your own words and method. draw it on a small slip of paper, fold and add to the jar.
  5. speak affirmations into the jar focusing on the protection of yourself ( or whoever will be wearing this). You can also repeat the statement used for the sigil
  6. put the lid on and place the jar on something you can pour the candle wax onto.
  7. pour all the candle wax onto your spell jar, allowing it to run down the sides and even create a pool at the bottom
  8. allow the candle wax to mainly dry and remove the bottle. it is now done. i like to put the left lever wax that’s not attached on a wax melt thingy and melt it for further protection

I hope this will help some of you! As always, change herbs or add herbs to your preferences or what you have available. Blessed be 💗 (leave any questions below as well x)

August 27 2020 - Protesters demanding a $30 minimum wage for Amazon workers set up a guillotine in front of one of Jeff Bezos’ homes, after he became the first person to have hoarded over 200 billion dollars. “Give a good reason why we don’t deserve a $30 an hour minimum wage when this man makes $4,000 a second,” an organizer and former Amazon employee said.
