Miss Major is still out here protesting police brutality at nearly 80 years old. If you’re LGBTQ+, remember that this woman right here is the reason we have our pride parades. Remember that she got her jaw broken by police at Stonewall. Don’t you dare discount Black Lives Matter just because of a few riots when a riot won you your freedom. Pride isn’t canceled this year, it’s just time we pay our debt and use it to support the Black Lives Matter movement. We need to be out there supporting our black siblings, who have always been on the front lines.

reminder that this blog, while not politically focused, supports BLM. bootlickers and racists aren’t welcome here, and never will be.

think it is a good time to bring up the fact that the police in the united states of america are not legally required to protect people. that is straight up not part of their job.

furthermore, the united states police system was created largely out of runaway slave roundup patrols, they never existed to protect people, they were created to protect “property rights.”

They do not and have not ever existed to help keep folks safe. That is quite literally not even in their constitutional job description.

Yea okay tell that to the victims of the murderers and rapists who they apprehend. To the victims of theft or domestic violence. GTFO with that bullshit.

real confused on how you mean this tbh....

it’s almost like you don’t actually give a fuck about victims of violence and just don’t want people to talk bad about cops.

cool, glad you can bring up their names whenever it’s convenient for you and not whenever is convenient for victims of crime.

since i have not seen anybody share information on this here, please pay attention to the philippines right now and provide any support you can. if this bill passes, people's basic rights to free speech will be taken from them.

anyone seeing this from the ph, please stay safe and stay strong. these are scary times.

if you haven't shared this, please do. i know there's already a lot happening with BLM in america but this is equally as important.

my partner lives in the ph and she is scared and is being ignored right now by their followers despite how fatal this situation is.

if the bill passes, this gives the ph government the right to arrest ANYBODY under the notion of being a "terrorist." they will monitor everybody's internet. this is a direct violation of freedom of speech and it's unfolding right before our eyes.
