Oh just to add on to your post about Marion and Greta. While yes we don’t know how old Greta is, I would assume that their age difference wasn’t too big. Mrs. Appleyard did offer Marion a job after all, so she old enough to teach, so yeah, I wouldn’t think that it was too big of an age difference.

mmm not that much considering marion was just about to graduate and become a teacher herself and greta seemed pretty young? obviously the dynamic between a teacher and a student isn’t ..... great... no matter what the age gap is though? like any situation where you’re trying to court someone who has direct professional power over you is Bad so rlly props on greta for not taking advantage of marion in any way? obviously greta was holding back for reasons that were greater than just ‘im your teacher and this is wrong’ but still. i really enjoyed the way their relationship played out and i hope wherever they yeeted off to they’re happy together, ya kno?
