A long awaited Level 12 redesign for my Paladin, Theowyn Joymore, and my Bard, Rhiannon Joymore!
it's come to my attention that a lot of people don't know about bluemaxima's flashpoint and genuinely think they'll never be able to play their favorite 00s internet games ever again so i just want to remind everyone that flashpoint is a huge internet flash game preservation project that allows you to play just about any internet flash game/animation despite the death of flash. if they've got it in their database (and they probably do) you can play it. go forth and drink in the 00s nostalgia
even if you think there's no way they'll have the game u want. they probably do anyway. when i first downloaded flashpoint i thought for sure theres no way they will have the obscure flash game i played for hours as a kid that was only even available on the internet for like 2 months in 2006. but you know what. they had it. seriously, download flashpoint

Here is a round-up of all eight of the free digital brush packs that I’ve released so far for Photoshop CC, Clip Studio Paint, and Procreate!
You can download them on this page (click) Type in “0″ for a free download or tip any amount you so desire!
All my brush packs are totally free (tips optional but always very appreciated!) and can be used freely in any work, including commercial work that you profit off of, with no license or credit required. My goal with these brush packs is to make digital painting feel more achievable and accessible - especially painting environments, something I now LOVE but that used to intimidate me, & felt much more approachable with the right tools! Many of the packs also come with tutorial video content. I hope you enjoy!
I'm real curious how you come up with these cool names for stuff.
Quite honestly names are one of the things I have the worst time with when it comes to creating things, and actually having to name something
- Anything I've been reading recently can filter in word sounds. For instance, I just watched the first season of DARK on netflix and now there's a lot of german-ish words in my head.
- Names in real life arn't actually all that complicated, you just take something that people would have seen in the region/happened there/the name of the person.
- Take a word or word that describes the thing, then start fucking with it. A stern and imposing mountainside can become Stenpoza just like a serene and storied lakeside can become Erenorid
- There's an official term for it but I call "erosion" or "linguistic drift", where the name for something gets worn away over time ( effectively doing the previous two steps in universe).
- I’m VERY fond of the starwars naming convention where you just name a character after something that tells the audience exactly how we’re supposed to feel about them: Han Solo is a Loner, Darth Maul is violent and dangerous, Rey is supposed to represent hope.
- When all else fails, there’s always tools like http://www.unique-names.com/word-mixer.php that let you just jam sounds together to latter be massaged into place.
The earthquake that's hit Turkey on 4am this Monday has also hit many parts of Syria. In cities like Aleppo and Latakia, the situation is heartbreaking because most of the houses damaged belong to the folks who's barely survived the 11 years long civil war. The buildings they were living in were already at risk of collapsing from all the bombardement that had happened during the war. The same goes for the northern region of the country where war hasn't stopped and destruction still reigns.
I've been here on this site for about ten years and i've seen all the political and humanitarian posts there is to see, for every nation and for every race but i've barely seen any talk about us when we were being torn from our homes and lands and losing loved ones during the war or even now as we fight against the cold, the hunger, the inflation and every single crisis a country could ever go through.
And here it is again, the focus is on Turkey and barely on us. I'd blame myself for not giving a voice to the issue when i simply could make a post like this one every single time shit hit the fan in my country and it does Every. Single. Fucking. Day. but i don't cause again the focus is rarely on the middle eastern side of the world since the other sides matters more and we simply matter less and therefore, my post will most definitely go unnoticed.
Is this guilt tripping and passive aggressiveness?! I really wouldn't know. Maybe. All i know is that we've been under sanctions for years now cause the first world hates the dictator that is making our life a living hell and it's punishing him through us.
So If you have a minute, please look up the damage that has befell the Syrian region and if you find an organisation you'd like to donate to, please do. I can't link any because i don't trust any tbh and if you don't understand why then maybe read more about who controls this country.
If you have more than a minute, maybe talk about it. Use your voice and make it heard cause most of the user base here is either American or European and what you guys say is heard louder and clearer than anything i have to say.
But If you don't have the time, maybe say a little prayer for us cause even that goes a long way.
It is so frustrating seeing that there is barely attention to what happened to Syria when it suffered almost the same amount of causalities as Turkey.
What is even more sad is that the sanctions aren't allowing help to get to Syria...
everybody's calling this earthquake the last straw. 7 years of a brutal civil war that took lives, homes and livelihoods from every single home in Syria, no matter the city. and besides the millions that lost their lives, half the population left the country in search of a better life, leaving their families and loved ones behind. Most of those who left either drowned at sea on their way to make a better life for themselves and their families or died/are dying from the freezing cold and the lack of empathy and compassion in the world in the camps. the other half stayed cause it had no means and no way to leave. that half got stuck with the aftermath of the civil war; the hyperinflation that led to people starving and sleeping on the streets cause food and rent are too fucking expensive, lack of basic needs to live and survive because of unjust sanctions that led to shortage in EVERYTHING but mostly fuel and therefor, power and heat and gas are now things we get in minimal dosages and must suffer their loss on a daily basis. Jobs have shitty pays, if you can even find a job to begin with and corruption is everywhere and is destroying everything in its wake.
the earthquake didn't hit the rich and comfortable, who can dust it off and try again. it hit those who've been already beaten bloody and left to fend for themselves, folks who were living in makeshift apartments insides of buildings that threatened to fall any minute from all the bombs they had to endure. those folks were already hanging by a thread and with this earthquake, the thread has finally snapped.
Syria is no longer a country. Syria is a tragedy.
With vanilla extract being a meme, I wanted to share some black history of Edmond Albius a black slave who revolutionized vanilla pollination.
He used a technique he learned of pollinating melons to polinate the orchids to create the vanilla beans. Vanilla was rare and a luxury mainly due to only being able to be pollinated by its natural pollinator in Mexico.
unfortanely, he didnt receive any money for his discovery despite being called the main man who revolutionized pollination, he died in poverty...
everyone say thank you Edmond
The costumes for the film are definitely fantasy. There’s no historical accuracy to them, really […] Because there are so many films and TV shows such as ‘Game of Thrones’ that were done so beautifully, I very consciously from the beginning thought of going the opposite way.
I did not want to use any fur or any leather because I felt that would be just terrible [because director David Lowery is a lifelong vegan.] So most of the costumes are completely vegan. We used pineapple leather and we used bark cloth from trees that resembles leather. We just stayed away from anything else. I’ve never used those materials before and I wouldn’t have searched for them if it weren’t for David being a vegan and me trying to find a way around it. That was a good challenge that made me re-imagine the clothes and not, you know, try to outdo ‘Game of Thrones,’ which was perfect.

there’s names and some extra character descriptions in the ALT text!
campaign update: we got two new blorbos to replace Othmar and Lotte
a bookish nun, Meija, and a freed prisoner, Aurel.
aurel can’t read but that will not stop these two from becoming friends.
