Masterlist - Requests are still open! - The Tag list is open!

Hello lovelies! Here is my posting schedule for the next couple of weeks! I've tried to balance out one-shots and series, I hope you like my new stories!

For now, we're keeping the same posting rhythm with a new fic posted every two days!

Also, a new character has been added to my masterlist! You can now send in requests for The Darkling! His first fic will be posted at the end of this week, I hope you'll like it!

I'm also very excited about the next Sirius fic that I'll post tomorrow (June 2nd). I'm hesitating to turn this into a series, so I will probably ask for your opinions on the matter!

I was super effective these past two days, and I am happy to report that I have finished not one, not two, BUT THREE chapters for my Darkling x Reader series that I'll start posting next week ;)

Also... I have finally picked up Pirates! again for our dear baby Caspian, and got two chapters done! **happy wiggle**

18. What’s one of your favorite lines you’ve written in a fic?

That's a tough one, I have written so much stuff over the years!!

The first thing that pops into my head is this little dialogue piece about art I wrote for The King and You (a Caspian fanfic), because it is genuinely what I think art truly means so... I like this bit (for context, they are walking across the National Gallery in London, looking at paintings):

“Art… it speaks to us,” you told him as you walked across a corridor. “When you look at a painting, it feels… to me, it feels like talking to someone. Like communicating through colours. Sometimes they tell sad stories, sometimes happy ones, sometimes they linger in lost dreams. That’s what being human means. Struggling to connect, by any means, to speak the words we need to let out, so we can be set free. Some write, some paint, some sing. At the end, we all want to be heard. We all want to leave a trace behind, of all these stories we held within ourselves. If it hurts, then so be it. As long as someone listens. Don’t you think it’s pretty?”

19. Give us a small teaser from one of your WIPs.

I've noticed you're on the taglist for the Darkling, so you're getting the first lines of the series I will start posting next week!!!! (I'm very excited about it, tbh). The fic is called The Last Ones on Earth, here are the opening lines of the first chapter:

It’s very dark outside, but that’s okay. You like it this way. After so many years spent by Aleksander’s side, you’re used to the shadows. You find comfort in them now.

You remember that when you were a child - such a long, long time ago – you used to be afraid of the dark. You longed for daylight, moonlight, anything to pierce the black veil covering your world. You couldn’t see anything around you, the unknown was a scary place. You didn’t realize by then that the shadows were a hiding place. If you couldn’t see a thing, no one could see you either.

Besides, the dark was a place filled with stories of monsters and spells and evil creatures lurking in its midst. It was evil, against the goodness of light.

What a fool you were by then…

5. What’s a fic idea you’ve had that you will never write?

Huh... I don't really know... I usually write whatever I think about. As long as it sounds like a good idea... so I would say, anything that sounds terrible will not be written, otherwise, I just write it!

15. How do you come up with titles for your fics/chapters?

I generally use references to scenes, or dialogues, or just what happens. I rarely use lyrics or that kind of things. Even if the titles are not always particularly good or original, I'd rather have it connected to what happens in the fic.

Oh... alors ça tombe bien que tu demandes parce que je devrais poster le premier chapitre sur AO3 dimanche, avec pour plan de poster un nouveau chapitre tous les dimanches du coup. (J'attendais demain pour t'envoyer un message, mais comme tu en parles...) Donc... pas de spoiler en attendant dimanche ;)

Me, reads the list of requests and chooses one : Oh, that sounds cute. And it shouldn't take too long, maybe a couple of scenes, let's do that. I should be able to finish it in a few hours.

Also me, 24 hours later, after spending 6 hours looking for this ridiculously unimportant piece of information about Ben, and after writing not 2 but 6 full scenes for this one request : Everything is fine. Everything is under control. I am a normal human being...
