#i voted dislike but i kind of have more complicated opinions than that#like conceptually wanting to draw a character as a different gender isnt a bad thing#it can be a way for people to explore their own gender or grow their art#but i feel like the majority of genderbends are just. boring.#Like oh you gave a male character long hair and huge boobs and theyre built like an hourglass w a thigh gap. and all of that shit.#fucking stupid! ugly too!#i think the problem isnt genderbends themselves but some peoples narrow conceptions of what male and female mean#male = short hair muscles pants and female = long hair boobs skirt#sometimes it just does not look like the same character

like trans people can look like anything and anyone obviously but when it comes to trans body acceptance lets not kid ourselves and pretend that the average trans man in 6"3 and jacked or the average trans woman petite with double ds and a high voice lmfao. ALL trans bodies deserve to be respected and accepted
I think it's important to let guys be gender non conforming without telling them they're a girl, cause actually misgendering people is still shit even when you are pro trans. "You're a girl, an egg waiting to crack, and that's ok" how about you are a boy and a man and it's still ok if you want to do something that doesn't align with traditional ideals of your gender. You can still be he/him in a skirt and makeup.
