Day 2 - Water
push yourself to get up before the rest of the world - start with 7am, then 6am, then 5:30am. go to the nearest hill with a big coat and a scarf and watch the sun rise.
push yourself to fall asleep earlier - start with 11pm, then 10pm, then 9pm. wake up in the morning feeling re-energized and comfortable.
get into the habit of cooking yourself a beautiful breakfast. fry tomatoes and mushrooms in real butter and garlic, fry an egg, slice up a fresh avocado and squirt way too much lemon on it. sit and eat it and do nothing else.
stretch. start by reaching for the sky as hard as you can, then trying to touch your toes. roll your head. stretch your fingers. stretch everything.
buy a 1L water bottle. start with pushing yourself to drink the whole thing in a day, then try drinking it twice.
buy a beautiful diary and a beautiful black pen. write down everything you do, including dinner dates, appointments, assignments, coffees, what you need to do that day. no detail is too small.
strip your bed of your sheets and empty your underwear draw into the washing machine. put a massive scoop of scented fabric softener in there and wash. make your bed in full.
organise your room. fold all your clothes (and bag what you don’t want), clean your mirror, your laptop, vacuum the floor. light a beautiful candle.
have a luxurious shower with your favourite music playing. wash your hair, scrub your body, brush your teeth. lather your whole body in moisturiser, get familiar with the part between your toes, your inner thighs, the back of your neck.
push yourself to go for a walk. take your headphones, go to the beach and walk. smile at strangers walking the other way and be surprised how many smile back. bring your dog and observe the dog’s behaviour. realise you can learn from your dog.
message old friends with personal jokes. reminisce. suggest a catch up soon, even if you don’t follow through. push yourself to follow through.
think long and hard about what interests you. crime? sex? boarding school? long-forgotten romance etiquette? find a book about it and read it. there is a book about literally everything.
become the person you would ideally fall in love with. let cars merge into your lane when driving. pay double for parking tickets and leave a second one in the machine. stick your tongue out at babies. compliment people on their cute clothes. challenge yourself to not ridicule anyone for a whole day. then two. then a week. walk with a straight posture. look people in the eye. ask people about their story. talk to acquaintances so they become friends.
lie in the sunshine. daydream about the life you would lead if failure wasn’t a thing. open your eyes. take small steps to make it happen for you.

how old u was when u started ?
Not sure if this means when I first showed signs of my ED, first started losing weight, or first started tumblr, so I’ll answer all three. If this question is meaning something else, please specify and I’ll answer that too lol.
-My ED first became a problem when I was in about third grade. I was being bullied for my weight and things went downhill from there, got into a constant binge and purge cycle that’s pretty bad, though I managed to get off it for months and then get back on it for months at a time. It wasn’t always constant, there were large portions of each year where I ate normally, but this year it’s been constant.
-First started seriously losing weight back in January of this year as a New Years resolution. It was actually really healthy and good at first, but once quarantine hit I kinda spiraled downwards.
-As for Tumblr, I started this blog in particular when I was eighteen, probably august or September of this year. My first tumblr ever was when I was thirteen (for browsing), and my second tumblr was when I was fifteen (for posting my own fanfiction). This would be my third tumblr, which I made for looking at TCC posts (I was having problems, clearly. I’m no longer crushing on a teacher and am in a stable, good relationship with someone my age lmao) and thinspo/ED posts (trying to recover now).
if you’re reading this, this is a sign that you CAN do the thing you’re putting off right now. i promise! and imagine the relief after you complete it! starting is the hardest part, but once u turn off distractions, break it down into small bits, and get some of it done today, you will feel so much better.

Recipe: Chocolate Peanut-Butter No Bakes
Ingredients::
- 1 stick butter (NOT margarine)
- ½ cup milk
- 2 cups sugar
- ½ cup peanut butter
- 1 tsp vanilla
- 4 tbsp cocoa powder
- 3 cups- quick cooking or 1 minute oats
1. In a medium saucepan combine butter, milk, and sugar.
2. Heat on medium-low, stirring to help combine everything.
3. Once it starts to bubble, let it cook for ONE MINUTE. Keep stirring- it is going to start foaming up towards the edge of the pan and will get uncomfortably close.
4. Turn off heat.
5. Add oats, peanut butter, vanilla, and cocoa powder. STIR WELL.
6. Using a spoon of whatever size you want, drop splats of the mixture onto aluminum foil (speaking from experience, you can also pour it into a foil-lined paper plate and slice it like a pizza later).
7. Leave to set for about 45 minutes to an hour until the cookies hold their shape.
8. Store as you would normal cookies.
