well, i’m not dollkin, so i can’t give you the answer you’re probably looking for. if you’re super curious i would recommend checking out the dollkin tag and looking at blogs of people who are dollkin, or maybe asking them about their identity or experience as kin. 

as far as i know, most dollkin just believe they were a doll in a past life, or have a very strong soul connection with certain types of dolls, or one specific doll in general - usually china dolls or ball jointed dolls.
