Guys, I’m actually crying right now. An openly gay idol is so important to the LGBT+ community and LGBT+ youth especially. I’m proud of Holland for being brave enough to do this, to put himself out there in the open and basically tell people that he is not going to hide who he is, and that we can have him as he is, or not at all. This is important whether you’re LGBT+ or not. This is important whether you’re into kpop or not. This is so, so important. More representation is important, whether it’s within something you like or something you don’t. I know many LGBT+ kpop fans, and I hope this will make them feel more accepted. I know it makes me feel more accepted, more wanted, and just MORE. Especially within the kpop fandom, since a vast majority of our idols are heterosexual/cis. I hope Holland inspires more idols to come out and feel more comfortable in their own skin. I hope he inspires fans to come out and feel more comfortable.

I don’t know if you guys know, but South Korea is pretty conservative. I’m glad Holland is brave enough. I hope he won’t be dismissed because of his sexuality. I hope he’ll be able to change even just one person’s mind about LGBT+. I know there will be hate, from kfans and ifans. But I hope he knows that I, the LGBT+ community, and hopefully you, will be there to support him and send him love and comfort.

I like how Atem just…kinda…imprints on Yugi like a baby duck.

I mean he pops out of the puzzle with no memories and no idea of what he’s supposed to look like and he decides “I think I should look exactly like you but taller”

and then he unquestioningly adopts all of Yugi’s goals and values.
