“The average US president has been charged with 1.54 felonies” factoid isn’t true. The average US President has been charged with 0 felonies. Donald trump, who has been charged with 71, is a statistical outlier and should not have been counted

Felonies Donld is now up to 79 felonies, for a statistical average of 1.71 felonies per president

Update:

With 91 felonies, felonies Donld has now broken the 2 felonies per president average average (2.02 felonies per president)

Reminder that autistic childhood stimming doesn't always go away and become "acceptable" or calm.

So this is a loving shout out to adult Autistics who:

  • Hand chew or suck
  • Arm or hand flap
  • Bang their heads and may require safety items such a helmet
  • Spin
  • Jump
  • Toe walk
  • Vocal stimming that isn't "socially acceptable"
  • Hair pull or chew
  • Skin pick
  • Lip chew

And all the many ways that you regulate.

I love you so much. ❤️

So because of the fact that dropout is allowed to be talked about during the strikes I just wanted to say that the stuff that they make is genuinely some of the greatest shows I’ve ever seen I’m not even kidding. “Escape the greenroom” is one of my favorite episodes of any series ever and don’t even get me started on dimension 20 and how much I would kill to even hold a boom mic there.

underrated moment from neverafter that I love is that when Lou rolls a Nat 1 on Pinocchio’s fake breathing and Zac says “there was never a world where it wasn’t a Nat 1”

I don’t have food stamps but I need to know how to eat well for $4/day. Thank you for this.

I love this cookbook!

Tips and tricks on how to survive being working class.

I’ve seen this kind of thing before and a lot of them are full of random weird shit you’d never make…because of time constraints or like, it just sounds super gross.

But this one had a whole section that’s just “Things on Toast”. Another that was all about putting crap in your oatmeal to make it better. Those are fairly pedestrian and don’t take forever.

I haven’t looked through the whole thing yet but so far it’s actually pretty practical. Also if you’re broke like me and don’t know how to make Dal, you should get on that.

I also liked that there’s this at the beginning:

This book isn’t challenging you to live on so little; it’s a resource in case that’s your reality. In May 2014, there were 46 million Americans on food stamps. Untold millions more—in particular, retirees and students—live under similar constraints.

Been there. Done that. Advice on this art is always welcome.

The link above seems to be broken; here’s one that still works.

The Good And Cheap cookbook is 100% free as a PDF download from the author’s website and is available in English and Spanish. It is practical, tasty, easy, and kind. Physical copies are one of my top “so you have your own place now” gifts. Highly recommend.

(note that the PDF is oriented the same as the physical book - two square pages - so it’s more landscape format and might be difficult to read on a phone)

my favorite Bill Seacaster moment is when they're all in Hell and Gilear asks him if he can board his ship and Bill goes "HAHAHA you fucked my wife you bastard. NO!!!!!!!!!" and shoots him killing him instantly and everyone freaks out and uses Revivify and Gilear comes back to life and Bill Seacaster goes "HAHAHA I have nothing against you all I care about is that she's happy :)" and goes on like nothing happened.

do goyische english speakers even know how many words they use regularly are yiddish Do they even know

there’s the obvious like mensch and mazel tov and bris and kosher but also chutzpah and klutz and dreck and kvetch and tchotchke and putz and schlock and SCHLONG! DO YOU GUYS KNOW THAT ONE OF THE FAMOUS TERMS FOR DICK IS YIDDISH! what about shmuck or schtick or GLITCH! GLITCH IS YIDDISH! DO YOU GUYS EVEN KNOW THAT BAGEL IS YIDDISH

well, no, they’re loanwords. english does it all the time with all kinds of languages. café (french), bazaar (persian), and kindergarten (german) are all loanwords. it’s not stealing, because languages aren’t really capable of the malice that implies. there’s also nothing wrong with using words from or learning new languages. what really gets my goat though is when gentiles mock the way yiddish sounds while using its words without even realizing it

y'all gave us bagel AND schlong?!?!? omg...thank you jewish people...
