The thing is that getting Palestine free is both very difficult but not as difficult as getting South Africa free. South Africa had more resources than Israel does, it could hold out so much longer and still the apartheid was ended by people working tirelessly and boycotting and pushing for divestment and sanctions. These methods will work for freeing Palestine too.
I know it doesn't feel like there have been many successes, but all the politicians are feeling the pressure. Pressure that we are able to sustain and even increase as we come up with new initiatives and convince new people to join.

But Wait, There's More! everything i'm about to say is secondhand experience from an intersex friend i have known for years, who i will not be identifying for safety reasons. not only can they just completely remove it from your medical record, many hospitals are in practice of straight-up lying to the parents to excuse why they're taking the baby in for surgery. an extremely common excuse is saying the baby has a heart condition. if you or a loved one were taken into surgery for a heart condition at birth and the parents had no idea anything was wrong until said birth, i HIGHLY recommend inspecting your genitals for scarring and speaking with a gynecologist or urologist(depending on which you usually rely on) if something seems fishy. they can also mark you as the wrong sex on your birth certificate because of this, which can barr you from treatment you are legally entitled to! worse than that, getting that corrected is extremely difficult. even if the doctor who edited your birth was LITERALLY THROWN OUT FOR MEDICAL MALPRACTICE, the hospital - and state - will continue to refuse acknowledgement of the mistake and no correction will be made. this is a very notable issue in the UK, especially if you were wrongfully marked Male. another thing people are often unaware of is the rampant issue of medical CSA that occurs if an intersex child is decided Female. There's a medical procedure called Dilation where a hole is carefully stretched wider over a period of time for various reasons; on its own, this is not a bad thing, and can be necessary for several reasons. however, many "female" intersex children are put through Vaginal Dillation at a disturbingly young age. the idea is that because their vaginas are shallow or more closed off, it's better to stretch them for a few years so that they'll be able to have sex properly when they get married. the thing is, there is no wrong time to start dilation. if you start at 18, there is no drawback; in many cases it would actually be safer, and it only takes between 1 to 3 years to reach a desirable state, depending on the person. and yet, this is often done to children FAR below the age of consent, explicitly with the future marriage reasoning in mind. this is sometimes started at infancy. let's really think about that. a young girl who is too young to consent and may not get any say in the matter is taken to a doctor over and over again to have her vagina stretched out because it is expected that when she's older she'll marry a man and have sex with him. there is no non-creepy way to put that. there is no way to explain this that is not BLATANTLY sexual assault on a fucking child. and the worst part is, this is not legally recognized as SA or abuse in the majority of juristictions. and ALL of this should be given the extra consideration that a large chunk of intersex children begin to identify differently than they were assigned at birth, often BEFORE hitting puberty. intersex people make up roughly 2% of the world population by modern count. that's twice as many intersex people in the world as there are redheads.

The fact there are mass graves being discovered at Al Shifa hospital to this day is beyond comprehension.
As a quick reminder, Israel withdrew from Al Shifa hospital on April 1st, following a two-week siege.
The news report from today (April 15) literally showed a man who was executed and buried along with his hospital report that mentions he was a wounded patient at the hospital.

For a week I embedded myself with Jewish Israeli nationalists who believe it’s a worthy cause and religious duty to block desperately needed humanitarian aid at the Gaza border. They enjoyed pastries with the military while confessing to war crimes and cheering for genocide.
"The Euro-Med Human Rights Monitor said that the massacre at al-Shifa was one of the largest in Palestinian history, estimating that at least 1,500 people had been killed, injured, or reported missing, “with women and children making up half of the casualties.”* The organization also confirms that at least 22 patients were shot while in their hospital beds, while the number of displaced persons sheltering at the hospital who were forced to evacuate southward was estimated to include 25,000 people. Moreover, 1,200 housing units in the vicinity of al-Shifa were destroyed.
Despite the army’s claims about the al-Shifa operation’s strategic and military importance and the number of alleged Hamas and PIJ members it had arrested and killed, it obfuscated the real intended purpose of the operation, which was to destroy the health system in northern Gaza and worsen the already disastrous humanitarian conditions. The entire compound is now unfit for use. Even the morgue, containing countless bodies of the slain, was burned down."
Dr Ghassan Abu Sitta, who was a lead surgeon in Gaza and particularly at Al-Shifa hospital, is barred from entering Germany.
German forces stormed the room that the "Palestine Conference" was being held in Berlin, Germany, cutting off the electricity and video feed as Nakba survivor and researcher Salman Abu Sitta was speaking via video.
Dr. Ghassan Abu Sitta, a firsthand witness to genocide who was working in Gaza hospitals during the war and set to speak at the conference, was detained at the Berlin airport and forcibly prevented from entering the country.

In any good English 101 course, you are taught to define terms before writing the rest of your paper. Understanding how misinformation is spread through conflation, confusion, and intentional ambiguity is vital and necessary.
As we have, in the last months, been exploring Christian Zionism on our page, we've seen the comments run into issues of confusion on this very topic.

The conflation also causes misinformation and misunderstandings to be spread about Judaism and the Jewish people.
Conflating all Jews with Israel allows people (Jewish and non-Jewish) to attempt to revoke
Jews of their Jewish identity when their politics do not "fall in line".

[URGENT: German police have announced they are shutting down the Palestine Congress and demanded delegates leave immediately. They have threatened to use force and already arrested one of the organizers, Jewish activist Udi Raz. He is the third person to be arrested today, two of them Jewish.
The announcement comes after police stormed the speakers' stage just 20 minutes after the congress had begun, shut down the organizers' livestream and then broke into the control room and shut off the power.
Police then went round to each delegate and demanded they stop livestreaming from their phones.
900 police are deployed to the congress, whose start they held up for hours. They demanded that organizers allow all German media into the congress, ironically to "safeguard free speech" and then denied entry to most of the registered delegates.

coming from a secular upbringing, i never grew up zionist and didn’t have a ton of background knowledge, even as a white usamerican jew, about israel. i was a nascent antizionist, but not until i was an older kid, entering my tweens.
i never felt any sense of shame about simply being jewish before 2014, when israel bombarded palestinians in the gaza strip and killed over 2,300 people and injured another 10,000. this was my first time seeing photos of kids bandaged in hospitals after being carried out of the rubble remains of bombed buildings, because i’d never seen these kinds of images emerge before. and my thoughts/words when angrily confronting zionist jews i knew, at that point, were things like “how can you accuse antizionists of spewing blood libel when israel is literally murdering children?” and “how the hell are you reconciling that? why is this not enough for you? will any proof of israel’s genocide and apartheid ever be enough for you?”
it made me feel extraordinarily deep shame just to be jewish, even if i’d never identified as a zionist, even if i was just some random jew, and it was zionists and zionism that made me feel ashamed to be jewish, or to have anything to do with judaism, because even though i had always been well-aware that israel and zionism are entirely separate from judaism, in my mind, i was terrified of people finding out i’m jewish and assuming that i’m zionist, because i’d already met people who had assumed this about other jews. and none of the things i was finding out about were blood “libel” because to be libelous, the statement first has to be false. it wasn’t false. israel was murdering children and it was one of the things that gradually continued re-radicalizing me throughout my life.
so when i see papers or articles about palestinians having no clean, uncontaminated water, and hear directly from palestinian witnesses who now live in diaspora, in my local community, that settlers literally dump chemicals or pour sand and stones into palestinian water wells, i think about the antisemitic trope of “well-poisoning” or “poisoning the well” and i see reports and accounts of israeli soldiers and settlers literally doing this thing—all of these things—that we, as jews, have been wrongfully accused of doing across past centuries, and even to this day by actual antisemitic white supremacist groups and fascists… but, of course, israel is doing this shit for real.
they’re actually, really doing this stuff. because they know they can accuse anyone, palestinians especially, who share the truth about this stuff of ‘spreading blood libel’ and ‘believing in antisemitic tropes’ and they know exactly what they’re doing when they, in the words of palestinian writer mohammed el-kurd, “over-enunciate the jewishness of their operations,” because it enables them to play victim and cry antisemitism when criticized. it’s sick. it’s sickening.
Btw Israel let Palestinians celebrate not one (1) holiday in peace. They didn’t grant Christian Palestinians access to Jerusalem on Palm Sunday, they actively attacked families who were already starving at Iftar during Ramadan, and now there are several reports of families being killed on Eid al-Fitr—a sacred multi-day holiday practiced by lots of Arabs. It breaks my heart imagining the Palestinian families in Gaza right now, most of whom are spending Eid mourning loved ones who were taken by Israeli strikes. Most of us will never understand the sheer magnitude of that pain.
I’m being completely serious when I say I can’t think of anything more dehumanizing than deliberately terrorizing Palestinians on their sacred holidays. It’s saying their culture is not worthy of being practiced with safety and security, it’s saying that they as human beings are not deserving of the luxury of culture and safety, it’s saying that they can do this over and over and get away with it because Arabs are invalids to the average person not directly affected by this. It should make you incredibly angry that every holiday so far has been grounds for a heightened volume of war crimes from Israel. It’s making me incredibly angry just typing this. Palestinians deserve better.
