Every time I see Murderbot fanart it's always with very neutral, robot-typical facial expressions but I think we need to acknowledge that canonically Murderbot has very little control over it's expressions and frequently makes really weird faces that make its emotions very clear to everyone present.

To my delight I have recently been able to refine my fuck density graph of the Murderbot Diaries

I now have reliable word counts for all six books to date, see graph below

With the upcoming publication of System Collapse we may discover if the increase is linear or exponential!

Martha Wells has read a ~4,000 word snippet at conventions, excitingly the six fucks in that reading would indicate a density of ~150

The Muderbot Diaries fan struggle of feeling like we should call the protagonist SecUnit like the PresAux team does because it would hate being called Murderbot in-universe but also Murderbot is the best name ever, plus its a fictional character and cannot in fact have feelings about what we say about it.
