"Tazzik On His Ship"

Long time no post! Still alive, still obsessing over obscure sci-fi characters enough to spend hours drawing them! I don't have the faintest idea what his ship interior looks like but I headcanon he's experienced in engineering/mechanics and fixes and upgrades his ship himself so it doesn't look super sparkly and clean like the average Salarian ship would look. I'm getting slightly better with Salarian anatomy, but still not perfect. Whatever, this was an idea at 9pm that I couldn't shake off. Of course, I couldn't decide what I wanted him to wear or if I wanted the ships computers or his omnitool open, so I just did 4 versions. Enjoy!

Wednesday WIPs I liked putting the boys in non game clothes so much in my last comic I decided to dust off the pinterest boards and make some more outfits edit: added timelapse. sketch goes wheeeeee. outfit 2 confounded me a few times I could not make up my mind

I genuinely think the idea that if you should draw a little every day or you'll suffer skill degradation is a total fabrication. Some of the best art I've ever drawn has been coming back from long breaks. I'm talking like weeks. Sometimes you just gotta reset and flush the systems. There's no shame in it. Take breaks. The art will be there for you when you're ready.

I'm making a skekNyx stop-motion puppet!!!! At least I hope it will work for stop-motion, I've never made something like this, but so far it's going well!

I'm going to make her body with fabric and filling material!

TWO YEARS LATER I am finally taking this project to completion! I don't know if I will use her for a stop-motion project, I am too scared to break her, but having her as a real life doll/figurine is amazing!!! I am definitely making urYen after I'm finished with her!

Here's the process: not pictured in the original post was when I painted the head and feet, the hands broke, so I remade them

They came out pretty big, but they're more charming that way

After that I went onto the body! I always had planned to make it stuffed, so I chose a fabric that I had spare (I chose wrong, that fabric is prone to fraying and now skekNyx is full of holes but that matters little, since I'm not gonna manhandle her)

So I made the torso and arms:

Legs:

And then painted the body to match her skin colour! Plus details and shading to make it clear she is nakkey:

Now onto the clothes!!! Tomorrow (friday 25th july) I'll go to the local market to hunt for scrap fabric and I'll start onto the clothes! I have most of the fabric I need, but I'm missing the core fabrics, to make the lowermost layers, so I can't start without them (I could start, but my brain doesn't work that way, I have to do the list in order or otherwise I can't keep organized)

Uhh, it's really interesting to think about how Li would look in a series, but I didn't deviate much from how he looks in the book🤔

Despite their role as the student council president, Gorozaemon would much rather run through the city and cause panic. But they'll settle to be a jump scaring menace to those around them, as long as they scream.
