The belief is Haiti is that certain women can live under water and will lived there for years… These women are extremely beautiful and men being men can’t stay away from a good looking women are seduce and then dragged under water and are never to be seen again… My great grandmother was one of these women… One day her mother sent her to go get water from the river and she never came back 10 years later they see her come up the road in all white with beautiful jewelry all around her body sing up a storm.. When her family asked her where she was she told them she was under water… thats the story my grandma always use to tell me growing up

I have a lot of thoughts about SU Future…
And I am not unaware of how this seems ironic, “let me help you”, when thus far Steven’s help has been different variations of:
But, I digress.
Well, to me, thats what has been the most interesting about Steven in SUF (and in general).
Steven is VERY emphatic but also VERY nosy. He likes to help people, but by help he means “In whatever form i deem correct”. He is a genuinely nice person, but he feels the need to prove himself. He goes “i dont need you to love me, i love him”, but he only means that when is about strangers (Go tell him his dad is mad at him and you’ll see him PANIC) He loves to ramble about talking about your feelings, but then he can’t say whats bothering him. He has spent SO MUCH of his life fixing other folks problems that he had taken that as a part of himself, and when someone (Jasper) doesn’t want his help or he sees other people taking care of a problem in a way he doesn’t like (Amethyst), he feels the need to intervene.
He is the epítome of “Do as i say, not as i do”, and such a complex character!
