Equipment
Suit On left: Lv. 0 default suit is a soldier’s battle uniform Middle 2: Agent 8 (futilely) chooses between hand-me-downs from Pearl or Marina. Pearl and Marina have some comments on the fact that Pearl’s clothes are too tight, and Marina’s are too tall On right: Lv. 3 outfit is a diving suit, in the manner of 3 and 4’s sports wear. Pearl is asking something about 8 saying something which I don’t fully understand about “100 sea cucumbers in 3 minutes”. Absolutely no idea what this means.
8’s suit is made out of a tight material identical to that of the soldiers’. It’s elastic and doesn’t get in the way of extreme movement, and can withstand an incredible amount of damage. You can also see in a glance that (blah blah etc). The ink tank also has a cute keychain attached to it. The research kit attached to the ink tank is obligated to be used when conducting a test at a Deepsea Metro station. Under certain conditions, it will expand, and it’ll detonate if a test is failed.

Octarians seen in the Deepsea Metro are different than the normal variety, being blue in color, vacant-eyed, and completely compliant to orders. This time, in pursuing them, we discovered a secret. Normal Octarians, passed under a machine, will immediately become black-eyed with a blue body. Simultaneously, they’ll lose all their memories in a terrible spectacle. We overheard the words of a nearby worker, calling this “Sanitization”, though this more or less appears to be brainwashing.

Tbh, i thought they were essentially dead Octarians, that were violently shredded to pieces, by Tartar’s Blenders. And then became re-animated corpses, in an attempt to create the ultimate and perfect life-form to bring the world to perfection, as Tartar’s creator wished (or least how Tartar thinks his creator wished).
But if they are just brainwashed… Doesn’t this imply they could still be saved?
And if so, what was Marina’s assessment of these Octarians “having no life signs“ in that first “Baller“ level? Or this that yet another thing, that the localization got wrong/falsified?!
