@ohthomasin

above all things i believe in love // i promise i’m trying // i will stand in the dark for you // nobody know you like i know // sunny santa fe would be nice // she/her // gaï

my dad likes to call the stretches of time where you’re not creating “dreaming periods” and says that they’re meant to allow you to absorb all of the beauty, life, and inspiration from the things around you so that when you’re able to create again, you will have fanned your spark back into a flame. sometimes its hard to see those moments as anything but stagnation, but he always says that they’re natural and healthy and needed—things that should be embraced rather than feared.

oh, to be the owner of a small bookshop on a cobblestone street with roses climbing the front of the building, where books are stacked about in piles and there’s always coffee brewing and a sleepy shop dog lifts his head at the sound of the door’s bell and thumps his tail against the hardwood

me, with a vague plot idea, 1 (one) character name, and an outline that consists of mostly question marks:

Victo Ngai is a New York based illustrator from Hong Kong, who graduated from Rhode Island School of Design majoring in illustration. Victo is not a boy nor a typo but a nick-name from “Victoria”- a leftover from the British colonization.

Apart from being a Forbes 30 Under (Art and Style) honoree and a Society of Illustrators NY Gold Medalist, her work has received recognition from the New York Times, Communication Arts, American Illustration, Spectrum, SOI NY, SILA, 3X3, Applied Arts and CMYK mag, Digital Artist UK and many more.

move the fuck over bernie

i remember like mike gravel in 2008 lol

Remember that ad where he threw a rock into a lake and then stared into the camera unblinking for two minutes? I desperately want shit like that back

That account, along with his whole campaign, is the work of three teenagers.

From the article:

“These young students contacted me a week ago asking would I run for president and I responded to them saying, ‘Do you realize how old I am?’” Gravel told The Washington Post. “I’ll be 89 years old in May, so it’s preposterous to think that I could serve as president.”
It took some convincing, but Gravel was ultimately persuaded by a three-page strategy memo that the students drafted and their assurance that they would handle all of the day-to-day work of the campaign. Their ultimate goal wasn’t to win the election but rather to qualify him for the Democratic debates, so that he could use that platform to “issue a critique of American militarism, plutocracy, and inaction on climate,” as his newly-created website states.
“These people weren’t just whistling Dixie,” Gravel said. “They were well-grounded.”
Managing the campaign are David Oks, 17, and Henry Williams, 18. Elijah Emery, 18, handles the finances.

Incredible…

So you’re telling me the latest Democratic candidate is literally three teenagers in a trench coat?
