Since I was 8 and found out about this for the first time my family has always followed up on someone saying “I don’t know,” with shouting “THIRD BASE”

merlin but arthur never looks at merlin when merlin does magic - like he purposefully looks away, and he always looks really awkward

and merlin’s a little disheartened by it but ultimately is like “at least he doesn’t hate me, hopefully soon my magic wont make him uncomfortable :(”

on the other hand arthur is like freaking out because W H Y does merlin look so P R E T T Y with golden eyes

Franz Liszt was truly one of the men ever

- became a lifelong alcoholic to cope with his depression at about 16

- was proud of being Hungarian. Did not speak Hungarian

- Czerny thought young Liszt's playing was a mess (but fortunately saw potential in the kid)

- penned his academic/historical writings with truly extravagant purple prose

- was a Lord Byron fanboy and tried to steal his look

- was a fail dad who was too busy touring and being a sex object to take care of his 3 kids. essentially left them in the care of his relatives for the entirety of their childhood

- sure did look ratty as hell, like he was desperately in want of soap and a hairbrush

- was apparently hot enough to turn the heads of men as well as women. fans basically wanted his gamer boy bath water. Even in his old age some people were down horrendous for the gangly rat man

- wrote a whole book about his genuine appreciation of the Romani and their contributions to Hungarian music, yet also fell into romanticizing them as untamed transcendental musical geniuses

- was mocked by the press for making too much Expressions(TM) while playing the piano

- wrote "vibrato" on a piano score at one point

- alongside his original music, also wrote an impressive amount of what were basically impossible piano covers

the fact that is impossible for me, in one life, to study classical studies, archaeology, international relations, all the literature in the world, get a languages degree in italian, german, greek, latin, russian and french; learn how to play the violin and also piano, cello, guitar and the flute; learn how to sing, both modern singing and classical singing/opera; is my villain origin story.

d major: the opposite of a procrastinator, carries a planner around and actually uses it, organised schedule, unintentionally scares people by their strive for excellence, can be bossy at times, always looks on the bright side of things even when they don’t go as planned

d minor: tries to find hope but fails, has a small circle of friends they don’t talk to much, feeling betrayed by everyone, had a painful past they would rather forget but can’t, thankful for that one friend who reaches out to them

e-flat major: always the leader in group projects, appreciates old church buildings, hymns and folk songs, draws attention but not in the way they’d like, wants to be remembered for who they are, a joy to work with

e-flat minor: sitting at a 24 hour restaurant at 2am, weird sense of humour, abstract art, doesn’t say much, city lights at night, can actually be happy but prefers not to show it, isn’t put off by dark themes in literature, minimalist spaces

e major: bright sunny mornings, always eats breakfast, sometimes wakes up to watch the sun come up, can be a little naive at times, retains a childlikeness about them, picnics under a tree on weekends, fights for justice, does good just because they can

e minor: centre of attention, finger guns, football and rugby, probably the class clown during their school days, unable to keep a straight face during serious situations, always thinking of the next joke or meme, known for hilarious stories at work or in school

f major: dinner parties, playfully teasing their loved ones, can be impatient at times, some sadness beneath their smile, constant note-to-self thoughts to get their act together, stays calm and in control of things, enjoys watching sunsets, always there for their friends
