Hello, I like seals and warhammer
Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan’s newest resident, a male ringed seal pup who was born in April, takes a little dip with the help of his human carer 🦭

Yuki the most adorable seal in Japan has become the biggest Internet sensation

Some animals wow us with their basketball skills. Other times, we’re amazed at how dolphins can teach other dolphins how to moon walk. Then there’s Yuki, the chubby ringed seal whose main skill is that her face is super squishable.

Yuki lives at the Osaka Aquarium Kaiyukan in western Japan. But she recently became world-famous when a video of an aquarium employee squishing her face went viral.

Yuki doesn’t just sit there looking cute and round, though. She also knows other behaviors that aquariums typically use to make sure an animal is healthy.

Aquarium staff use this move to check Yuki’s flippers.

Staff may also ask a seal to roll over so they check out their belly for scratches — or to give belly rubs, of course.

The aquarium reports that Yuki has a healthy appetite and eats about 6.5 pounds of fish per day.

So there’s this seal rehabilitation center I like to watch the livestream of from time to time. This morning was pool cleaning day, the day they weigh the rescue seals and photograph them to keep track of their rehabilitation progress as a sudden change in weight is a serious health indicator among other things. The box helps keep them on the scale as, otherwise, you cannot weigh bouncy boys.

This seal was having NONE OF IT. One of the workers was attempting to get the seal to turn so they could get a photo of its side. (They are not hitting the seal, at most she is giving him a little shove in the direction it needs to turn.) HE DID NOT LIKE BEING TOUCHED WITH THE SQUEEGEE.

He did NOT like his photo being taken!

As soon as they took the box to weigh one of the other seals HE STOLE THE FRIGGIN’ SQUEEGEE!!!

I had a dream that there was a seal in our garden, which was not great for the seal so we went on an adventure to find him at least a lake

**this time posting all of the sketches.. also what I havent captured is that the seal swam through the green of our garden as if it was water.. but unfortunately there werent any fish… he also talked and was very polite.

Need to be mindful for our feathered friends!

I’ve queued this to post around the time that alot of babies will be hatching.

Go buy some frozen veggies and feed the babies

It is baby season right now. A lot of babies are being born right now and people keep bringing them into the sanctuary. Sometimes its best to leave them alone.
