Soooo.....
I’ve been working more on my Miraculous Coccinella AU (where Lila is the holder of the ladybug miraculous). So yeah, just some character sheets/references for myself mostly, but I thought I’d share what I’ve been up to, anyway

Can we talk about how Pearl from SU is literally every main female charater from Revolutionary Girl Utena?? (Spoliers for both series' ahead!)(also don't take these as 100% accurate)
Utena is pretty easy to understand, they both swordfight, associate themselves with a noble title (knight/prince) and want to help someone who's issues they don't quite understand (Anthy/Volleyball).
Her and Anthy would obey every order from their owner, until one owner freed them from it.
And they both commited serious acts for the ones they loved, only for it to end in tragedy (and their loved ones ended up dying anyway).
Nanami is a comparison you don't often see, but think about it. Nanami knew that her brother was seeing numerous other girls besides her, but in her mind she was different, SHE was Touga's sister, their love was pure. Pearl also knew that Rose was always getting involved with humans, but it didn't matter, because THEY were just phases, NONE of them ever had what they have. They both also taunted/attacked those people their lovers were involved with.
However both of their lovers DID end up leaving them in the end, turning their worlds upside down and making them expirience major character growth. (1/2)
