can i be honest? i think you’re all very cool and beautiful and capable. i think you deserve so much kindness and love and happiness. i hope it comes back to you tenfold. i think you deserve that.
Working on yourself involves taking responsibility for your actions and decisions without resorting to making excuses or searching for justifications. It's not about finding comfort in our excuses but instead requires acknowledging our challenges, understanding them, and actively striving to make positive changes to overcome them. Excuses can hinder your personal growth, so embracing accountability and self improvement is essential.
The animals have been killed so the meat is DEAD and the cells are breaking down. How is eating something dead good? And we wonder why we have so many illnesses.
Cooking is such a joyful experience...
I cook for my cat. I cook for my family. I cook for my neighbours. I cook for my friends.
I cook for my community... for those in need. I even made cookies for my students.
Sure, I do enjoy eating out from time time... But the greatest beauty and joy is in home cooked meals.
Those meals ate a moment of love and sharing.
We might be too tired to do it consciously but the magic still happen... We just need to notice it.
This is absolutely beautiful.

Alternatives to "I did nothing
- I rested
- I chose not to make plans
- I listened to my body
- I prioritized my needs
- I shortened my to do list
- I watched the show I love
- I was kind to myself
- I took a mental health day
- I allowed myself to recharge
- I gave myself what I needed

I need to change my mindset to this!
My Sunday thoughts were inspired by an Instagram post , I recently saw
1.Peter 3:6
"Even as Sarah obeyed Abraham, calling him " Lord " . Whose daughters ye are as long as ye do well and ye are not afraid with any amazement"
By habitually using this respectful appellation , Sarah acknowledged that Abraham was her superior and that he was rightfully ruling in his house . I just love the idea of taking Sahrah as a role model and getting into the habit of addressing our beloved husbands in a respectful way . By doing so, we can inspire their leadership , encouraging them to take responsibility for the family and to grow into their role as the head of the household
Have a blessed Sunday 💒🕯🩷🌸
