More pleinair mountain paintings from last week as I was in the french alps! Pleinair is hard and i havent gouache painted in a while so I feel like i've lost a lot of skills ;-;

Looking back at paintings from last year, I cant help but also feel like I use less bold colors now- Idk if I like it or not. On one hand, I feel like I understand colors theory better now, and colors are overall more harmonious. On the other, I did like that chaotic colorful use of colors I used to have, even if it was a bit clumsy. Oh well! I'm still learning.

Some mountain paintings from last year! I never posted them. o: Also, the 3 first ones were exhibited at Gallery Nucleus Portland last fall! I think the first one sold, but the 2 others are still available if I'm not mistaken.

Ugh, was having a great time mocking my recently imprisoned rival when I noticed the camera positioning makes it so that I appear behind the bars, thus framing me as trapped in a metaphorical prison of the narrative, now my whole day is ruined. Fuck.

Maybe he's not the best, the biggest and the bravest of knights, but the lady of his heart gave him this wreath, and for her he is the best.

thinking about all the “small” art that’s ever existed. songs that were only ever sung in one village. stories written by children that got lost in the shuffle. personal paintings that didn’t survive the test of time. how they affected the lives of just a few, but still existed, still mattered to someone.
