Toddlers are so pure. She doesn’t understand that we help her with certain things because she’s little. She thinks that everyone just helps each other like that. So she tries to blow on my food and cut it up for me and tries to help me put on my shoes.

Sad people get drunk and spill stories they thought could be buried... the pain resurfaces, never gone for good... connecting each memory to another old one.. oh the good times. Even the bad ones make me smile. I can see the sadness in his eyes yet he still tries SO hard to be strong. My voice cracks, "Go ahead and cry." I reassure him. He deserves happiness. I wish for it all my heart.. for his happiness.
