I had a few days off last week so I made this little animatic for fun! Many thank yous to my animation pals for lending their voices. I was going to just have text instead, but being able to add sounds effects and voices was really fun! I hope all of my fellow Rise fans are doing okay this week, I know times are tough but there is always hope! Love to you all.

As much as I enjoy the "siblings give your s/o the shovel talk", I figure that the turtles would say to Usagi the same thing I've said to my sibling's partner:

Leo: *says something incredibly dumb a few steps away*

Raph: *looks at Usagi, then at Leo* *leans forward*

Raph: you sure you want this one?

I'd like to add my own:

Leo: *does something obliviously dumb*

Donnie, looking at Usagi with The Office™ stare: That's your man?

Usagi, dreamily sighing: Yeah~

Bonus:

Usagi: *is frustrated with Leo*

Donnie, not looking up from his phone with sass: But that's your man.

Usagi, sighing tiredly: .... Yeah

Spiderverse really said "Your grief was not necessary. It served no purpose. It did not make you better or kinder or wiser. It did not make the world better. You did not need to suffer to do good. You should never have had to suffer the way you did. Grief is so strong and so painful that you had to justify it to yourself in order to accept it. You convinced yourself you are better because of it. That the good things you do are because of your grief, instead of in spite of it. You needed to believe it in order to move past the pain. But the moment you believe your suffering was necessary, you begin to believe the suffering of others is necessary. And when you believe the suffering of others is necessary, you begin to be complicit in it and eventually begin actively and purposefully causing it."

and it was so real for that.
