Welcome to my blog!! <3

hello, I am Cheeber or Cheebs!

my pronouns are she/they. I love they might be giants and a lot of things on this blog will probably be about them!!!! I make art so I will post it whenever I get the chance! I am still quite new to tumblr, so apologies for the lack of posts so far..

My asks & dms are open to anyone!! feel free to message me to chat, I would love new friends! I have social anxiety, so I might take a little while to respond. (I promise I'm not trying to be rude!!) I live in australia so my timezone is ACST.

I don't really have a DNI list, but if you make me uncomfortable I will probably just block!! :/

Socials & stuff!!

"Oh you talk to yourself! That's unhealthy!"

UGHHHHH NO ITS NOT SHUT UPPPPPP. I'm tired of people acting like it's a bad thing! I talk to myself because what ELSE am I supposed to down with all this energy??? I talk to myself because it makes me feel like I'm releasing energy! ITS A GOOD THING and actually BENEFITS ME. And I only do it when I'm alone anyways, so who CARES.

DESTIGMATIZE TALKING TO YOURSELF.

The James Webb telescope registered a "?" Ping in the space. Apparently even the aliens are tilted af

i don’t know if someone here has explained this already (too lazy to look through all the tags), but this is likely caused by the merging of two galaxies!

when galaxies merge (sometimes called colliding, though i find this term to be misleading as there is so much empty space in galaxies that the chances of matter actually colliding is astronomically low), they don’t just do it in one simple “squish”

rather, they enter whats often described as a “cosmic dance,” with the other galaxy. they tug on each other, stretching each other out before orbiting closer together, then repeating the process over billions of years. this leads to the cool shapes (like the question mark) that you can occasionally find in deep field images like the one above :)

^^heres some merging galaxies!
